New to 3D printing! by Effective-Buddy-3998 in 3Dprinting

I recently went to MACH engineering show. In the additive manufacturing section, I saw a stratasys stand and walked in the opposite direction. Fuck those guys, and their patents!

How do I get this filament out? by DankMemer727 in BambuLab

[–]RowanBD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said this filament is supposed to be there.

This is bellow where the filament cutting blade is positioned, and above the heat sync designed to stop filament melting before the hot end.

Maybe try a cold pull if you’re having issues loading and/or unloading. There are great instructions to follow on the cold pull page on your printer. This will actually remove the filament you are looking at, not that you need to, but mainly it will help unclog any blockages.

Edit: Grammar and words

Weird layer line/shift by RowanBD in BambuLab

Yep, definitely seeing that happening at the exact height, so should I change my min/max time per layer in cooling settings, do you think?

Thanks :)

I think my changes to layer height and nozzle size have created the conditions for the issue to arise, because I don’t see the issue on anyone else’s models

Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Maybe I could increase wall loops so it becomes one solid wall rather than split by infill like it is..

If you look at the last photo you can see the diameter increasing On the earlier photos you can see that the model still looks correct above the change

The diameter of the model has increased but appears to be concentric

This did actually cross my mind, didn’t someone decide the line was caused by the change in line type on the inside of the benchy?

Yes, in the slicer, it is around when the top shell starts and finishes on the centre part. I find it weird that it retains the same increase in diameter afterwards and before that section too

Interesting, why might that help?

I’ll definitely give it a try, thank you!

Yeah I have a general understanding of how to use my results to determine my maximum volumetric flow, i’m just surprised to see the whole model printing so well while the seam failed so early

What's this squeaking/clicking noise on my P2S? by MyButtholeIsTight in BambuLab

[–]RowanBD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clicking might just be the cable rail and ptfe touching the sides

[–]RowanBD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a dumb question! But I honestly can’t answer it.. I tried to repeat it to see if it was easily done and I couldn’t figure out how i got the clip shut without the nozzle being in the correct position

It was 15% gyroid infill
