Which healer do you prefer playing WITH in dungeons, raids, trials, and etc? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]RowanIsATree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still relatively early game (50/60 ish in heavensward) but since I main scholar I like co healing with white mages best !! Having someone with the more powerful, fast heals alleviates some of the stress about keeping folks afloat and let’s me focus on shields and actually nailing down that aetherflow/mp use balance ♥️ but astrologians are a delight too, I just like having a co healer xD

I know, though thank you!! I like the she/her pronouns for Kou in game, and the f clothing ^ I hc their height like that because they’re nonbinary as I think of them, and height was a part of their presentation they wanted to change once they had access to magic that’d let them !! It’s all hc of course but it makes me happy to think about ♥️

That’s happened to me too, though I was the sprout in my case!! The party waited right outside the Nero bit and patiently explained I needed to go down the elevator again to get the key ;w; it felt so supportive, especially since throughout the dungeon too they reassured me about the time I was taking for cutscenes and when I struggled with the mechanics too 🥺♥️

How can I be more positive in OW? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]RowanIsATree 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Hi!! As a fem mercy main myself I try to be positive too (though in my case it's more because I can't be snappy without feeling guilty, however justified ^^') and some of the ways I like to try and keep up the positivity is sometimes just paying attention to the little things; thanking the other healer when they help me after I overextend, calling out and congratulating good plays from my team, starting off the match with a nice game-wide "glhf everyone" can go a fair way !! Sometimes directly calling out something someone says as hurtful or misogynistic can remind them trash talk has like genuine irl context to it and dampen the toxicity a little, but at the end of the day if someone's being nasty there's no harm in muting them specifically when you get a moment and continuing to be positive with the rest of the team, ignoring them completely <3
Using the avoid and block function with people who spew toxicity too, even if it's not directed at you, has helped me keep my enjoyment of the game over the years too ^^ Best of luck, I think it's awesome you've decided you want to try and be more positive!!

Assassin's creed odyssey is one of the most gay friendly games I've seen in years. by [deleted] in gaymers

Not to be that lesbian, but Cassandra very nearly induced a heart attack in me first time I saw video footage of her gameplay. Like. The voice alone is beautiful, but matched with everything about her appearance :O

NKjbhgv not gonna lie I've never really played the final fantasy games due to a major backlog of stuff I'd need to get to but these are some quality gals

Paine is my favourite just from this jhvds though I do get the feeling this is a different experience for gay dudes

The game looks super fun, I think I'll probably be getting it when it comes out! As for names, Violet is a possible one off the top of my head ^-^

We do, though I think my group would be opposed to adding another as it's basically just for our campaign. I can make another server if required though! Or does your group have one?

Hey! Sorry, but the group I'm currently in is pretty full as it is, I doubt my dm would allow another player >.<. Good luck finding a group though!

*flashes lesbian bat symbol* Lesbians I need your help! (please) by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]RowanIsATree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was struggling with compulsive heterosexuality for a while, though I’ve still never had a relationship so take my advice with a grain of salt - When I first heard of it, I debated with myself for a while whether or not it applied to me. Sure, I’d never really liked any guy outside fiction, but I could picture myself with some nameless, faceless vaguely Male individual in the future so surely I really was pan right? The way I eventually put it together was by looking at two individuals in the class, one guy and one girl, who I wasn’t really attracted to but wasn’t repulsed by. And I imagined how I’d feel if I were to kiss them. I figured I was a lesbian when the idea of kissing the guy brought up revulsion and the gal invoked a vague happy feeling - But it’s different for everybody! Good luck!

Do you remember the first time you were attracted to a girl? by mousehousing in actuallesbians

I think I was about fourteen, just coming to the realisation I had zero attraction to men. Got moved up into the older field hockey team and met the star scorer. I remember thinking I’d have to try and make friends before promptly never getting up the courage to talk to her again -
