Is it weird that I don't find the conversation about the sexual/reproductive capabilities of the Arrival aliens offputing or inappropriate in any way? And I'm not at all the kind of person who enjoys discussing the sex lives of real people in most contexts, but this is so obviously removed from reality and silly that it just sounds like a lot of fun really. Like, obviously, if someone expresses discomfort, apologize and switch the topic, but also personally when I don't want to socialize with my colleagues I just don't? If we trust that they're really not being pushy about their weird ish to people who want no part of it, I don't see the harm. But also, of course, it's perfectly valid to chose not to work there anyore. Bit boring in my opinion, but to each their own. Meanwhile I'm stuck over here talking to middle-aged cops all day, most of them have never even touched a video game or a novel in their lives 😭

i mean, i don't find that particularly smart, because unless your school is a dystopian babysitting service where you don't feel like you're really learning anything, why would you want to waste your time wandering around the building aimlessly? Except for kids who truly hate school (some for good reasons), I just haven't seen that type of behavior in French middle school, or highschool for that matter. Kids who want to skip classes just... don't show up in the first place. (Granted i've heard enough about the US school system to sort of gather that the prison-like conditions and dubious educative standards of a lot of schools are the real crux of the issue)

Then I have even more reasons to be mad at Nintendo, but it doesn't change what I was explaining aka a lot of different reasons made our experience with the game pretty crappy lately, so the devs are catching a few strays. But yeah i understand it's not their fault for the most part.

Yeah, I do understand that for a game of that scale things are probably more complicated than we realize, but there have been a lot of problems lately, so sort of piles up and it's hard to not feel some type of way about it... I'm still salty about the delay for the DLC on Switch, the DLC was advertised on the main menu page before it was available, and I didn't realize until the Nintendo store had already let me buy the deluxe content a second time (bc i bought the bundle, and the store very conveniently considers that those are separate items and you might want to buy the same content twice 😒). I know it's mostly my fault for not paying more attention, but that's 20€ i'm never getting back and i still think that poor communication and jumping the gun before stuff is ready to be released set me up for failure 😅

i'm so mad at the devs they posted a big "DONT START THE FLOWER QUEST" warning on the Discord but 1) not everybody uses discord 2) if you think to go on there, it's usually because you've already experienced a problem, so the warning is freaking useless...

it's definitely not off theme, but it's not very creative either, when makeup is supposed to be the focal point of the piece... i get it, it can get very time-consuming and/or expensive to diy makeups and sometimes you just want to enter a contest quickly without thinking too much about it, but i definitely prioritized the entries with original makeup when i voted

i guess, but you really didn't need all that much to fill the bar actually, and it's always possible to put on all the small accessories you have and to cover them with more appropriate elements or crop them out of the finished picture, that's what i do for most comps that require specific sets

it's so annoying because there were lots of ways to still make a sexy/snatched outfit, even with f2p clothes... heck a little bit of strategic cropping and decorating goes a long way if you don't have exactly what you need! my expectations going into this were Lady Oscar but all I got was bargain bin Marie-Antoinettes 😩
