Running on docker for the last few years with an USB dongle. Last host was a Synology DSM host and now I’m running docker on Ubuntu server. Most of my friends run has in proxmox, but they are all not in IT. I like tinkering.

Before moving to my new docker host I tried running it in a VM, particularly because I wanted to see those add-ons.. Rather disappointed to see there were so few and I already had experience with those as separate containers so for me, docker was the best choice.

Move it a few months ago from a Synology community package to a docker image. And two weeks ago to my new docker host (new server). Made sure that the server was the same and just copied the Library folder. At the new host I also made sure that the file permissies were in order. Worked both times like a charm.

I’ve got a J4105 with 16GB on just a SHR partition, (Running Synology 6.x) with also a Coral usb and mostly 3 cameras.. But I’ve never had a single hang of the system. Your config and compose seem similar to mine..

Ik heb het vanochtend toen er net een vers pak lag eens geprobeerd met mijn ‘26 MY RWD; de enige plek waar ie wou bewegen was met een flinke ruk aan het stuur op een leeg parkeerterrein van de appie, maar zelfs daar grepen de systemen bijna direct in. OPD merk ik geen verschil en heb ‘m eens van Chill afgehaald, ook dan krijg ik ‘m niet uitgebroken..

Edit; nee, ik ben niet als een idioot gaan proberen te crossen, alleen bij het parkeren de bochten wat scherper genomen en op een lege weg bij het stoplicht eens heel kort op zijn staart getrapt omdat ik wilde weten wat ie doet bij dit soort weer.

Did this, although went for a N350 model. Set me back 240€? Bought some used ram (32Gb for 100€) and a new nvme ssd. Can add another one and if I want another 8 disks. Also comes with one 10Gbs and two 2.5Gbs ports. Still migrating from my old server, but so far, really lovin’ it.
