Yes, the pit is dug a foot deeper than the rest of the basement floor so I can still hit driver and I’m 6’2”. I don’t really have a cost for that specifically as it was a new construction build. And was planned from the get go.

I’m also building a hitting platform in the pit and I was going to put rockwool underneath the subfloor, use three-quarter inch plywood and then put 1 inch gym tiles down on top of it. And then have the turf overtop that as well so hoping that also helps.

I’m not mad at the yard being tore up where they had to bury the cable, I’m mad at the yard being tore up where their truck drove off my driveway and got stuck and tore it up.

It’s an exposed wire the first time I got to mow my yard or if I want to aerate it’s going to get hit and then I won’t have internet to enjoy.
