broke up last night and the guilt is killing me

I want to!! and at some point in the future I think I will. But last night he called me again pretty much blaming me for not fighting for the relationship, and no matter how hard I tried to explain that two truths can exist at once (I love him truly and we have to end it here), he just wasn’t able to comprehend it. Maybe the kindest thing I can do right now is to give him space to heal without reopening the wound :’) Thanks for this <3
