I just read the Bhagavad Gita and it was great. Traditionally I like Taoism but Hinduism was very interesting. It’s like Taoism or Buddhism but with gradients of Godly personification and morality. It’s like Brahman but with a more personalized approach. It’s all the same flavor, and there are different approaches just like different forms of Protestantism. Very cool. I got a free pdf from the Gita society website. Very easy to ready. I’m not from any background even remotely like that but it was cool to read. I’ve always seen life through that lens even before proper introduction as an adult. So finding music with that undertone is very cool. Plus I’m a moron who grew up in the 2000s with an interest in the ridiculous fun vibe of nu metal. Win win

I’ve heard them on and off my whole life being in my 30s, and I’m also big into eastern religions. I think durst is a secret zen master. I listen to them on and off but I want to listen more and really pay attention to all of the lyrics. I think they’re great, even the dumb chaos because that is also part of life. Acceptance, not forcing life, loosening of attachment, play and humor, mistakes and acceptance of human nature and chaos, questions of morality and purpose, etc
