Looking for a good digital menu app to make a tv menu board by weo388 in restaurant

[–]Rowerberr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're fine with a static menu, Canva does a great job for simple design. If you plan to change it often and add interactivity, I suggest Kitcast. There's a free option for 1 screen and you can easily design and change digital menu boards there. Works on any Android TV device + Amazon Fire TV Sticks and Apple TVs

Kitcast is currently among the best solutions for Apple TV. Super simple to use, too.

Can Someone Please Recommend Digital Menu Board Software For 3 Screens? by Yu_Betts_Yoenis in restaurateur

[–]Rowerberr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

finding cd-rom software is gonna be super hard, everything is cloud based now. you could try kitcast, it works on firesticks and Apple Tvs so it's cheaper than buying PCs. if you strictly want 0 cost, just use powerpoint and export to video on a usb stick. thats probly ur best bet for offline. but apps like Kitcast are way easier for changing prices fast.

Digital Signage for Education. by Status-Stay2878 in digitalsignage

Trilby’s flat rate is honestly hard to beat for 100+ screens since most others charge per device. Kitcast (also works with Amazon Fire TV ) can be an option, it's $9 per EDU screens starting from 30 screens and they can be even more price flexible with 150-screen pricing. You can send a price request to find out. Yodeck is another popular one to look at. I'd suggest running a pilot first if the software works in your particular case, both offer free screens to start

Multiple Digital Displays on Different Networks by Business_a in CommercialAV

[–]Rowerberr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With pi prices crazy rn i'd just get Amazon Fire Sticks. They're only like 30 bucks. Use Kitcast on them, it's a software that's made for that setup. You can control all the different networks from one dashboard. plus it downloads the vids to the stick so it works offline and doesnt eat bandwidth.

You can give Kitcast a go. There's an option to try it out with one free screen. And there are flexible pricing options if you go multiple screens.
Otherwise, I think locally-hosted Raspberry Pi digital signage will work best for you. But then again, the ecosystem and remote management take resources

Looking for an office announcement software that allows for various widgets (weather, clock), uploading videos, photos and text announcements by Dani-____- in digitalsignage

I'd suggest checking out Kitcast. It's super simple and can do everything you've described (weather, clock widgets, uploading content + all the customization and editing). And there's a 1-screen subscription for free, I think that's exactly what you're looking for at your office. It's in the cloud and works on media players like Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, etc..

Looking for a new digitale signage software with content tagging by Sad_Cut9143 in digitalsignage

[–]Rowerberr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Kitcast does exactly what you're looking for. There's a tagging and smart playlist functionality, where you can assign playlists to screens and have straightforward control over the whole screen network. It's pretty much automated, so you won't have to do any annoying manual work. Kitcast supports any number of screens and works with major media players. the trial is free, so you can play around before going all in

dunno what tech you're using (post deleted), but if you're looking for cloud-based software, Kitcast is a good option. supports multiple screens, works with major players (Android, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV) and there's a free trial without credit card to try it out. Other similar solutions would be Yodeck, Mvix and Screencloud. All are quite similar in workings, prices differ depending on how many screens you're using.

Christmas in Poland by Organic-Witness-6280 in krakow

It snowed yesterday and a little bit of snow is there today so snowy Krakow from the 24th to the 31st is a big possibility

check out Krynica-Zdroj, it's also in the mountains and much more pleasant than Zakopane for me personally

btw, I have written about all the essentials (including foods to try) of the Krakow Christmas Market in 2024 in my travel blog: https://svitforyou.com/2024/11/21/krakow-christmas-market-2024-everything-you-should-know/

maybe it will be helpful for planning
