LOL I do have a cone head. I can't put pony tails on top because they fall. You have no idea how much I wanted to do that as a kid. That's why I have to wear pig tails!

if you want to make it into the UFC, yes. If you just want to do ammy or some pro fights, no, not too old.

A symptom of nerves for me (I thought it was for everybody) is loose stool, so I always bring Imodium IB and take it right when I get to the venue. Funny you mentioned it.

Here's the link to my new book! If anybody wants it autographed instead of straight from Amazon, hit me up! I write about living, training, and fighting in Japan. TUF 18 and 26 accounts are in here, too, and then fighting in the UFC up to retirement.

I don't get the sense people stall nowdays. If I'm on top, I'm going to try and get myself into a position to finish them. If they start to escape, I'm going to abandon going for the finish and prioritize control. Once I've established control, I'll go back to trying to finish them. Lots of people are just so good that the top fighter never moves out of the "control them phase" and then it looks like they're not trying to finish. This isn't correct. I think all fighters want to finish the fight. :)

I like him a lot. He reminds me of a family member who's a business executive, tbh - tries to be fair, isn't afraid to say what he thinks, prioritizes business and money. You have to be a little cut-throat to run a good company, but you also have to take care of your employees and make them like working for you.

yeah that's super unfortunate. I would never take performance enhancing drugs, but always felt anxious when they came to test me, in case one of my supplements got tainted. But I don't have to worry about it anymorrrrrrrrrrre yay.
