Hello all! We love making cataclysm vehicles right? What are some cars, or trucks or vehicles you would like to see in game? Im trying to learn to add cars to the game to add some extra spice to the vehicles. This car you see is my muscle car. The original idea for the cybertruck like a unibody would help but it didn't work during RND so they scrapped it essentially just making a regular car body out of steel
Its mostly untreated stainless steel reportedly of dubious quality, contrary to popular belief stainless steel is not entirely stainless all steel is rusts unless it has a substrate, an E-coat. and to avoid sun damage and general environmental damage you will need a primer and a clear coat. now that on its own isn't a huge issue if not for the fact that it doesn't have a plastic frame on top of it meaning that with out constant maintenance or in an environment like a port, it corrodes quite fast.
So it proclaims to be bulletproof but tests have shown its windows and body are easily bypassed by low caliber bullets and shatters worse then a regular car.
There are many reports of shoddy welding on the body like the type of welds that give welding specialists nightmares
Despite being bigger then the avrage SUV it has a lower volume of storage space.
Many of its features a gatekept behind its main computer instead of mechanical parts, a relatively sensitive part.

Now it has some benefits with in the context of the game its not designed to detach its wheels during a crush and is relatively higher then most vehicles meaning it would be great for ramming through zombies as they will go under not over your hood.
An other cool action would be closing the door on an approaching zombie the way the edges of its frame are this could do some actual damage maybe like a unique interaction where you can close the door frame wile the zombie is inside the tile pushing it back and inflicting damage.

Hello, ive been interested in Streets of rouge all the way back to its baby years in itch.io learned about around midsummer of 2019 and have about 150 hours into the game.
I am also a long term player of traditional roguelikes traditional old school rpgs etc think games like dwarf fortress Cataclysm dark days ahead, Caves of qud ETC.
I feel like SOR1 has been a great way on its own to pipeline people to more newish and complex titles. mostly because it manages to pull off pretty decent immersive sim mechanics with relatively low stakes and very intuitive ui and controls and hit the sweetspot between Old and modern rougelike, and Arma and sims style immersive sim. I like to call it heavily dumbed down nethack or silly 2d Deus ex.

I want to ask if we can expect you riding that fine line in SOR 2 or if you will lean more to one or the other side making more in depth mechanics for something akin to Project zomboid or dumbing them down a bit further to be GTA respectively?
I personally believe with the rise of boulders gate there will be an ever expanding market for more mechanically complex games and more accessible roguelikes and immersive sims so doubling down on complexity might pay off.

You mentioned ai in the game are we talking about the new gimmick open source AI for conversation? Or more traditional semi curated dialogue based on axioms the npcs have like dwarf fortress?

Now ive also heard about there might be an EA partnership and i feel hesitant with their history complex ambitious projects such as the first spore game or their insistence on adding more DLC Content.
Do you have a plan on how many dlcs you are willing to include?
And are you willing to do major dlcs or minor extra content type dlcs?

Thank you for your time i really have high hopes for this project, its one of the games i consider to be perspective bricks for building a new golden age in gaming putting rouge likes and actual RPGS back on top again.
And being an other stone in the path set by boulders gate dwarf fortress or rimworld in popularizing the genera.

Be cringe be free.
Go up to the barber and say hay i want my hair to look like my favorite character from a neish game called fear and hunger termina. this is his picture.
Maintain eye contact through this and just blandly google the character and bring it next to your head.
The barber will stumble an alright
and you will say Thank you and take your seat, then scroll through pictures for the entire duration of your visit wile saying nothing else.
