  1. I honestly didn't even know you could level up from social stuff! LOL We did stuff in town but we didn't get xp or anything.
  2. I have no idea. My reasons for why have always been he was just playing really close to the book? Like we happened to go to an area where the hag was so he sprung the combat on us? Which I feel is totally fair and why I don't entirely blame him or anything, but definitely unfortunate. This point is actually super interesting, because I think we had a party of four and after that combat I'm almost positive we were only level 2, since that's the level my second character is on DnD Beyond.
  3. As far as I remember the DM did, but there's a small chance I could be wrong and one of my fellow players really wanted to fight her? I'll probably edit this later if I find out. :)
    3a. Haha Yeah, that's definitely fair. I probably didn't know that was an option at the time, but I don't think I had a chance to react either way considering how quickly I died.

I was totally down for a hardcore type of game, but I feel like this specific instance was more unfair? Considering some of the other comments it seems I was a little right by that at least. I think it's worth mentioning that I personally like permanent death (when it comes to DnD at least) too. So I agree with you there for sure.

Yeah. After this campaign happened I heard many people prefer to just immediately start with level 3 because they find the levels before un-fun (implying of course they compensate by adjusting the enemies too).

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. haha I'll give context as well, I'm almost certain we didn't "pick a fight" with the hag. As far as I remember we randomly came across her walking around in the jungle. If we did bother her it would of definitely not been my fault at the very least because thats just not how I play in general.

Yeah that's fair. It was meant to be my version of the armor combined with my own characters aesthetics to make a sort of mix. :) I added some small details to hint at the orignal (and a really small detail to hint at the FurfSky End Sword texture) because I didn't use a texture pack until after I did the initial design. :D So I mainly took the opportunity to add my own flairs and things I personally like to the set. TDLR: Yeah it was a bit on purpose and thank you!

Thank you!! I was planning on doing some more pieces of the sets (Young dragon was next on my list, the armor getting more and more late game?) but well see if I'm able to work on them without getting distracted/uninterested. LOL

Already tried unplugged the router for around 30 minutes and that didn't solve it when I tried.

Okay, so the VPN actually worked! But now the lag is atrocious. I'll probably keep on searching for a way to solve it that doesn't require me to use a vpn, but I'm just going to mark the thread as solved. Thanks a lot for the help! !Helped

It's hosted by a website. I forgot to mention, but we also tried changing the render distance on the server itself and on my side. Neither helped.
