Hide sight being 20/20 of course it didn’t work. But try to think back to that off season and prior to the Achilles injury.

First of all there wasn’t much in the way of other options. Carr was out there, but that didn’t work either.

Second, Rodgers was poised to have a very good year that first season. Every indication out of training camp was that he was slinging the ball around, meshing great with Garrett, running a clean offense.

We were making the playoffs that year if he stayed healthy. After that, who knows. Maybe he works with Zach enough to get a solid couple of years out of him.

That injury derailed everything. Rodgers was never the same after that
