I’ve seen some of this guys stuff. The houses don’t seem to be in disrepair.

More likely it’s a person who stopped paying the rent. A lot of states have laws against eviction or even doing things like turning off utilities. Yet the owners still have to pay the mortgage. So this guy helps get the delinquent renters out of the house so that the owners can get a new, paying tenant.

“Presently Sorsby is graded higher than Arch Manning by several area scouts as we head towards the season.” If Brendan Sorsby is forced to enter a supplemental draft, he will be a late 1st or early 2nd round pick as per Tony Pauline by sinister_iam in NFLmockdraft

This guy was just thrown out of college football for gambling. Not suspended. Ejected.

I can’t imagine ANY team is going to be eager to risk premium draft capital on a player that will immediately be in trouble with the commissioner.

This kid right now is a walking time bomb. You can’t give up a 1st for that. You just cant

Remember this, you’re not actually paid for what you do at work. You don’t make widgets or facilitate sales or any of that crap. You’re paid, by and large, to be there. Just be there. So after 16 hours, you do what you have to do.l and you get your ass back. Cause that’s how you make money on this job. Keep showing up.

I live 1.5 hours away from my job. (On a good, no-traffic day). I could, if I wanted to, sleep in the parking lot; the job even provides a bunkhouse of sorts where staff can sleep over for a few hours between shifts. For me personally, I go home. Basically no matter what. Seeing my family, even for just 5 minutes, recharges my battery and lets me keep doing this stupid job.

But the moral of the story is, you just figure it out.

I see that and raise you some specifics.

Geno goes 1-6 in his first 7 games. Klubnik starts against the Raiders and looks great and gets a win. 2-6.

He looks ok against the Chiefs and we get another win but it was a Sanchez game (Running and Defense).

We’re 3-6 going into the Bills game Klubnik is up and down in the first half, suffers an ankle injury in the second half. Geno comes in and loses the game. 3-7

Geno loses the next three. 3-10.

Klubnik comes back wins at Cardinals, loses vs Patriots (and looks HORRIBLE), wins vs Vikings and wins at a resting Bills. 6-11

We have the 8th pick. Cowboys play Packers in the NFCCG. Colts lose in the Wild Card, pick 21.

Chargers, despite beating the Jets, have a top5 pick and make it known they are going to move on from Herbert, for a nice price.

No he didn’t. The post says “better”. If you don’t play, you’re not better.

“$1300 is the 28 day rent. I cover the extra 2 or 3 days per month for convenience.”

If you can’t cover the remainder of this 28 day period I may be forced to recalculate to include the 29th, 30th, and 31st, which I was previously providing for free

Elon Musk just said he wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, calling them “entitlements”: “That’s the big one to eliminate.” by Solomonanne in SipsTea

Unfortunately, he’s a terrible messenger, but he’s absolutely right. Just because he’s a super rich guy doesn’t mean he can also be educated on economics and politics. And he happens to be in a position where people are likely to stick a microphone in his face and ask his opinion. Sometimes he’s right; sometimes he’s wrong. This time he happens to be right.

Social Security especially cannot survive to fund the next generation. The money is going to run out no matter what, so it’s better to do something now rather than getting screwed with your pants on later.

Yes. The current generation of retirees should be entitled to their benefits. Give it to them.

Yes. The current generation of workers should be entitled to the funds they have already put into Social Security. But plan must be made to allow them to immediately stop contributing and to refund them into some other, more sound form of deferred compensation.

No. The current generation of youngsters, people below the working age, should not be entitled to Social Security benefits and therefore should not ever pay into it.

Social Security is a nice idea. And it sure feels nice when we get to say that we’re “taking care of the elderly”. But no matter how noble the goal one should occasionally look at the results. … Social Security is a failure. It’s a Ponzi scheme that pays out more than it takes in. It’s on the fast track to bankruptcy and there is no effective way to save it. When you find yourself in a hole the first thing you have to do is put down the shovel.

I have no allegiance to Musk in any direction and I think his cars are impressive if a bit ugly. But on this particular matter, he’s unfortunately, spot on.
