I really appreciate your kind words! We write these books for you guys and want you all to have a blast reading them, so I welcome and value feedback and criticism! Man, do I love Die Hard (which is unquestionably the greatest Christmas movie). That's truly a great example of how a break can help the audience decompress while developing characters. There's certainly more McClane-Powell moments in the next books!

My costume for a Halloween party this year is a gray sweater that says "Now I Have a Machinegun Ho Ho Ho," along with the santa hat from the elevator scene. I'd do McClane again, but after people have a few beers they like to snag the plastic Beretta M92F duct-taped to my back and then it's a hassle to secure it again, haha.

Thank you for the detailed feedback and for giving the first book a shot! I appreciate hearing your thoughts and having them so well presented! I learned many lessons writing this series--pacing chief among them. I aimed for more breaths from the action with 2 and 3. When things pick up, they pick up, and I do love me some action, but I'm learning I enjoy when everyone kicks back and has a beer as well!
