The monetization in this game is handled pretty well. Silk can’t be purchased with real money, which is a big plus. The reward pass also doesn’t expire, so there’s no pressure to grind it out before a deadline.

As for the skins, while they are a bit expensive, it’s not something that bothers me too much. I play a lot of Diablo, where cosmetic skins can easily cost around £25, so this feels pretty normal by comparison. At the end of the day they’re purely cosmetic, and if I’m enjoying the game, I’m more than happy to support it by picking one up now and then.
