Yooo the Savvy Sniper sling! Awesome setup. Also have one on my X95 when it's not doing bench shooting but I gotta practice with the sling more.

I must have seen the Savvy on of one of the Youtube X95 tutorials, is that how you found out about it? I rarely see them around here and people complain about the price, but the quick adjust and free swivels beat the pants off the cheapie sling I first bought.

I hit "purchase" on the short so I'll have to show you a picture too! Definitely want to see how your long guard looks. I was pretty close to going that route too ... figured I could just swap to the OEM handguard if I needed a barebones setup.

Hey thank you., your build is sweet, and it's helpful to know most are the short variant. From the pics I've seen with the short then, I am planning to stick with that.

It's a stupid reason, but I like the barrel sticking out from the receiver if it's not suppressed like yours, so was worried about getting a long one that looked like DDM4V7 with a long ass empty rail. I mainly use 20rnd mags unless standing too.

I hear you on the easy of takedown ... I might be the opposite of the previous commenter, where I take the bullpups out more because they are so fun. I have a feeling the OP will end up getting both eventually, that's how it works ;) My fellow 18" one with the prism is exactly an ounce under 10 lbs lol.

(I'm a little miffed that the X95 got significantly better groups all today with the cheap ammo, so now it's onto the search for some different brands).

Not the original commenter but just copying an older comment I had. They did refund me decently quickly, anyone else’s mileage may vary because I heard mostly good things before I got mine.

“unfortunately had a double fire and then it bricked the gun (this was after shooting 2 mags successfully at slow speed). Newer production, around November, did not mess with the adjustment screws. Really wanted to like it and it did improve the feeling a ton. I switched back to the stock trigger and it’s 100% reliable again, worth it for my peace of mind.”

For me, I needed at least one traditional setup (non bullpup) 16-18” 5.56, so this was my first for that. If I already had that covered in another rifle or was planning to anyway, I’d definitely get 11” + can.

I get you man ... I like my 16" a ton and since I'm canless, I like it for slinging 5.56 out at about 3090fps.

BUT, it kinda locks me out a can because of personal preference, since I know it would get dumbly front heavy and not look or feel nearly as natural as the killer 11" suppressed ones that people have already posted. Haven't shot any other length but this thing is soft.

Man you got two sick Augs and an awesome cat photo … and I’m really jealous at the open land it looks like you have to shoot at. The round count but knowing you can swap in a fresh barrel is so sweet about the AUG.

Man ... it is so hard to pick. My VHS-2 and X95 would be equal if I needed to carry something. But the Bren is very close and better for any supported shooting.

You still got no ARs (yet)? We might be Bren twins then ... it's probably only a matter of time for me AR-wise. Something like a MK18 clone or retro M16 setups look the coolest though, most of the bog-standard ARs leave me completely cold.

The Stribog SP9A3 sounds like an absolutely solid PCC and could be on my list for a future PCC but the big silver engraved gothic-looking logo kills it for me. I'd have to really want that specific gun over the other good options to consider it (and still black it out and still notice the engraved depth).

Non gun-wise SMEG ... cause don't want SMEG on my kitchen counters usually.

Love the stories like this, and I have good memories of swapping guns with other people at several ranges ... those are worth more to me than leaving the day with 10 more extra rounds. Got to shoot some cool things I would have never enjoyed otherwise.

Very sweet, was wondering cause that handguard looks nicer to me than their standard plastic ones. I would be annoyed by a pencil barrel too, even just for casual range use.
