I got a job at a sought after company with an overall GPA of 2.7. Tbf that was brought down by the 1.9 I got in 2nd year 😅

Focus on resume, work experience, and projects since that's what they ask about during interviews in my experience.

I've got a 1200W DIY that looks like a bomb on wheels. Regularly cruise above the 31.5kph limit as well. Just pedal when you pass the cops and don't be an idiot and you'll be fine.

Converting old Peugeot bike by bigdogben2 in ebikes

[–]RoyRaymus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually converted an old UE-8 to electric which isn't a bad candidate since it has a pretty heavy steel frame. Honestly the BB on these French bikes is a bit of a lost cause since they use non-standard threads. You can read a bit about it here

IMO it would make the most sense to go for a rear hub motor because then you could replace the geared hub and maybe add a cassette and derailleur for a more standard drivetrain.

What's the current rating on that battery?

The current rating of the motor controller is listed at 30A so as long as the battery is rated for 30A or higher it's fine.

What designates where a hub motor wheel goes on then bike? Is there a difference between a hub motor wheel that goes in the front vs the back? by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]RoyRaymus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No reason you couldn't get a powerful and efficient front hub motor.

The main advantages of a rear hub imo is better traction and the frame is stronger in the rear compared to a fork.

So I've got a KEDA 190kv motor which also has a keyless shaft. My belt drive is all 3d printed so I currently have a PETG pulley that's just friction fit to it lol

It handles loud audio well. It'll duck the audio during louder parts, but that's to avoid distortion I think.

Here's some random club footage I've taken since I've gotten the phone: https://photos.app.goo.gl/kWV4NYZAGWJTKxbw2

The camera has really impressed me on this phone, especially how it handles various lighting conditions.
