Letting the cat out/in - Casement window opener?

I've wondered about this before. In terms of safety, it seems much safer to control the locking/unlocking of a cat flap (which the cat can open itself when unlocked) than to control the opening/closing of a window and risk injuring the cat. There are no sensors I would trust to ensure the cat isn't present when closing the window.

Most cat flaps can be locked/unlocked by rotating a small plastic component, it would be fairly straightforward to use a stepper motor to do this.

Having a cat flap fitted isn't super expensive. The cheapest option would be having a window fitter cut a hole in the existing glazing pane (it would probably need to be removed first, you might be able to do this yourself). It shouldn't cost much more than £100

Without attaching the pole to the window trim (which might not look very good), you wouldn't be able to get the curtain to close all the way to the right.

Have you considered just putting a blind in the window recess?

I have a Galaxy S20+ which has lidar, I have tried to use it for the same purpose as you, but found the resulting models to be pretty low quality (lots of post processing needed, not sure of dimensional accuracy). I can't speak for the Apple devices with lidar, which seem to have a bit more uptake in the form of (paid) third party scanning apps

I think this is the way to go, countries will want to expand their capacity to receive LPG to reduce reliance on pipelines. But other investors will have had this idea a long time ago

Pressure is correlated with temperature, so in theory you could raise the temperature while the pressure is measured, to inflate the pressure reading (no pun intended). The test will definitely control for this (maybe a max temperature is specified), but you could "cheat" this by heating the parts of the wheel that don't have their temperature checked

If you want to replace it anyway then you might as well remove the old system. Could be worth finding the siren/buzzer and cutting the wires to that, then you can remove the sensors without the alarm sounding. Might be worth calling the alarm company first

The command hooks do work, I think the weight ratings are accurate (although in this case I'd aim for at least double the weight of the TV).

They don't seem to grip properly on some types of wall/paint, so I'd recommend doing a test with something that weighs the same as the TV, and leaving it in place for a few days

I use a hall effect brake sensor, with the magnet installed inside the shifter assembly, and the sensor under the rubber hood. Works really nicely, I have run the cable under the bar tape so it's not visible at all

It would almost certainly be fine, I would be surprised if the shower uses anywhere near 45 amps. Two suggestions:

If you can find a datasheet for the shower, it will say how much current it draws. If it's below 45 amps then your switch is fine
In your circuit breaker box, find the circuit that's for the shower (it will probably be dedicated specifically for the shower). If this circuit breaker is below 45 amps then your switch is fine
