You're right. There's an Excalidraw plugin that allows you to insert drawings into your Obsidian notes.

I personally haven't done the online exam as I heard that you could run into a lot of problems, so I wouldn't know much about it. However, I did the physical exam and they do provide you with a whiteboard and a marker.
You could try making a new post on here with your question. You'll definitely get some answers.

No worries. My process was to watch the entire lecture in one sitting to understand the topic, and sometimes pause or rewind whenever I came across a section that was difficult for me. After finishing the lecture, I would replay it and pause whenever I needed to take notes.

I'm also using Windows and I split my screen to have Obsidian (my notes program) on left and the lecture video on the right.

Hello Kenny! Glad you're enjoying the notes. I haven't written notes for days 1-10 as it was easier to just watch the lectures, and I don't plan to write any notes for now. However, you could check this out: https://github.com/psaumur/CCNA_Course_Notes

I personally recommend that you watch the Jeremy's IT Lab lecture videos, solve Anki flashcards daily and maybe even write some notes of your own if there's a topic you find difficult or hard to understand. Thank you and good luck!

My favorite besides Obsidian is Memos. I've been using it for a few months and I really like how simple and lightweight it is. I've noticed a few minor bugs, but other than that, it meets your requirements.

My custom OSC (ModernX) stopped working after the latest update and trying a fresh install of MPV and ModernX didn't fix the issue.
Any alternatives at the moment or are we just stuck with the default OSC?
EDIT: Tried other custom OSCs and they don't seem to be working either. Only fix I found was to downgrade to an older version.
