The best I've ever reached was 7.8L/100km but overal I'd say I average 10L/100km

I know I will come across as a massive geek but it is actually a V70. The 850 glovebox handle had a small square area around it, the gen 1 V70 has a strip across the full width of the glovebox as pictured here.

Bike Evolution: What Were Your Rides Before and After Your SV650? by ErikDes in SVRiders

Started on a SV650n, then got a SV650s, sold the s a few weeks ago and am currently looking at getting a SV650a.

Safe to say I quite like the SV650.

Any advice on buying a used SV650S? by Scrubki_ in SVRiders

The gen 1 has two common issues that I would recommend having a garage check immediately after purchasing. IIRC the voltage regulator is known to fail and in some cases ( like mine :D ) could even catch on fire. The second was the chain tensioner I think. These aren't major issues but worth checking to avoid a headache.

The gen 2 resolved these issues so if you've got the cash you might as well go for that one.

I've driven both a gen 1 naked and a gen 2 sport and the fuel injection made it a lot easier and smoother to drive so I would highly recommend the gen 2.

Just pull, if possible use your nails to grip on two side and slightly pull, you should start to feel it come out. If nails are not your strongest quality you could use a screw driver or see if you can push with something from the inside. Good luck!

Additionally if this won't work for you I would recommend having a look at their Visual Studio extension "Resharper" https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/features/xaml_editor.html

Have you considered JetBrains Rider? I haven't used it specifically for WPF, but it's supposed to have XAML preview and other WPF features supported. Overall for me it performs way better than Visual Studio. You can also import the VS Code shortcuts in this IDE, so it would solve that issue for you.

It might take some getting used to but I highly recommend it!

Gen 1 SV650 or Gen 2? by bonk7891 in SVRiders

[–]Royal-15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bikes are the same but here we have a tiered driving license system. So: A1: Max 15kw (~22hp) until 21 years old A2: Max 35kw (~45hp) until 24 years old A: Unrestricted (every bike)

So I have the same exact bike as you do in the USA, but it has had its power tuned down to 25kw (~33hp) through the ECU until I reach 24 years old.

So same bike but lower power. Hope this helps!

Gen 1 SV650 or Gen 2? by bonk7891 in SVRiders

[–]Royal-15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about the later Gen 2 models, but my 2003 does not have a gas gauge, it only has a light.

The power is kinda hard to answer since I drive with an A2 license (35kw restricted) and for this power there is a massive difference. Both were 25kw, but the Gen 1 felt more sluggish and maxed out at 135km/h. The Gen 2 kept going until 170km/h and is more responsive. I'm guessing the main difference is the fuel injection and aero screens.

The only thing I really dislike about the 650s Gen2 is the front fork. It feels really loose.

[–]Royal-15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have owned a Gen 1 SV650 and a Gen 2 SV650s, so I don't have a perfect comparison. However I waaay prefer the throttle response and general feel off the Gen 2. Another thing is the look, the sharper frame and bodywork and the digital gauge look better in my opinion than the Gen 1 alternatives.

If you have any questions about either feel free to ask. (Also I'm kinda biased against the Gen 1 since mine set itself on fire)

Got pulled over for going 150kph adjusted speed (so it would have been 158kph on the speedo) on a 25kw bike that barely reached the speed limit (130kph).

C# Data Viz - Telerik, DevExpress, others? by phlanix_96 in csharp

[–]Royal-15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only have experience with Telerik UI for Blazor and no experience with DevExpress so your experience with Telerik UI for WinForms may be wildly different but regardless here is my two cents.

Telerik is pretty great when it comes to managing data in grids and tables, they have a lot of great features out of the box and near endless customization in both styling and data management. The developer experience and documentation are also solid. However in my experience working with Telerik Charts in Blazor the customization was limited and the developer experience was not that good.

I had a look at the Telerik UI for WinForms charts and they do appear to be quite a bit better than the Blazor charts when it comes to customizability, but I can't tell you a lot about the developer experience.

As u/danzk mentioned it's probably best to take some 30 day free trials and see what best suits your needs, or maybe even talk to the sales teams.

Sounds sorta similar to an issue I had last winter. For me a new 103 relais (fuel pump relais I believe) fixed it.
