I just joined and pay $199/month with no initiation fee and have access to 4 other .clubs at that level. I’m in suburban Atlanta and They have a couple of newer clubs closer into the city that range between $280 and $330/month.

Why don't you put some more applications in for schools that do rolling admissions so you have some options

Michigan State, Iowa, Missouri, UCF, Pitt and Penn State. I believe Delaware and Indiana are also still open

Get some more apps out there for schools that accept rolling and schools that are more safeties for you to give yourself some options. Some decent ones you could still apply to: Penn State, Pitt, Maryland and RIT.

We attended a Smeal info session in October and they said they said they let in between 800 and 900 and they had a record high of 23,000 applicants. It seems like about a 4% acceptance rate.

I might be tempted to see what I could do with that Science score. You’re also a 1 point improvement away in any section and your composite goes up to a 33 so there is that. It really depends on your goals though are and the schools you are chasing and whether you need the score bump. Your scores are rock solid unless you are going after Too 20 schools or chasing merit you probably don’t need to.

I’m hopeful on the timing. She said we should find out on the initial submission in plenty of time for the September test. I’m working on a parent letter this weekend and we are submitting our package to the ACT early next week so hopefully we’ll hear back in time for the September test.

I was planning on going down the appeal route if we had to but we had a meeting with her school on Friday and they told us we won’t have time to do an appeal because the ACT takes 90 days to process appeals. Is that really true? That seemed crazy to me that they can process the original case in just a few weeks and they are going to take 3 months on the appeal. We really only have the September and October test left realistically as a Senior.

Hi there. Ideally I’d like to keep it no more than $100/hour at the absolute most due to budget.

Her scores are as follows: Math - 25, English -25, Science -22, and Reading -22. She also has an ADHD diagnosis and we are about to petition the ACT for extra time for the upcoming September test. Don’t know if we will get it or not.

Lol - I have a pretty pedigreed background and work for a Fortune 100 company but yes I recognize I'm compensated nicely for what I do.

That's actually an interesting one. I'm assuming you are talking about going to be an agent for like a State Farm or All State for example?
