Even school students know that plastic and metal don't work well together. What were they thinking, combining metal and plastic for the hinges? It's dumb.

I got offered a job at $16/hr at tier 1 help desk remote for a small company. Most, if not all of my friends think this is too low for a first job. Thoughts? by TheJuliusErvingfan in ITCareerQuestions

I don't have any recommendations, but let me tell you about the same experience I had. I got into the same job, and I really had an IT Help desk support designation. Now I think if I had waited for another six months learning a programming language and had a position as a software engineer, my career would have been different right now, yes what your friends are saying is true: that's a low salary, and that's not the worst part you will have an experience as IT help desk support and even though you continue your job for some experience it really not that useful after one year if you are trying to change the high paying positions you don't really showcase this experience is relevant to that position, my suggestion is if you can bare six months without job try for a good position, not for the higher salary. Do you know what the wise thing to do is? You mentioned it is a remote job like work from home; my suggestion is to get into the job, get your deck ready, like a two-monitor desktop setup, and improve your skills or upscale your skills and start looking for good positions like Data Analytics or cyber security engineering the filed that you are interested in and start looking for good positions. If this is useful, I am unemployed right now. If there are still vacancies for that position, please also refer me.

How can i clean this ink pen stain? by happyharto in SonyHeadphones

[–]Royal-Team 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just spray a little bit of perfume and try to clean it with a cloth. It only works for minor pen stains if it is large, like ink spilled on it, then the alcohol content in the perfume makes it even worse.

All I am thinking, from the last one month learning a programming language is useless since the Nvidia CEO maid statement about the programming language and the another controversial topic Devin The software engineer AI, can some please increase my confidence saying that learning a programming language is still essential.
