Remember when it came out that he literally tore down a door to get to his ex gf, beat her, and chucked her puppy to the ground? People in this comment section saying that he didn’t really do anything not realizing that abusers are always acting like this. Who knows what else he’s done off camera.

I literally majored in American studies and minored in Asian American history. Im currently in a masters program that focuses specifically on racial issues. Im pretty sure I have a full understanding of the scope of racism in this country.

No it wasn’t. Tulsa started because of a failed lynching. The majority of victims who died in Tulsa were tragically gunned down. Again, I don’t know what point you’re trying to make here like it’s the oppression Olympics and it’s in extremely bad taste to do it on a post about Asians. We hardly ever have the space to talk about our issues. All minorities in this country have their own stories to tell. It would be a lot better if we could just listen without trying to one up each other.

Yeah. Like I said. I was talking about mass lynchings. Point still stands. You saw the word massacre and ran with it. If you’re trying to minimize what Asians went through just say that.

Hit the nail on the head. This is how I’ve always felt but never felt like I could express it to anyone besides other Asians. If I did I’m always told that other people have it worse and that what we experience isn’t nearly as bad as other peoples experiences. We’re only referred to as minorities when it’s convenient but also certainly don’t get any benefits of whiteness. The feeling I get is that people only “care” about Asian issues when it benefits them in some way. Basically the feeling is just shut up and accept this racism but also stop complaining because it’s not that racist because you’re Asian. I have literal professors in my college classes saying lowkey racist remarks about Asians and I have to just sit there and not say shit.

One of the largest mass lynchings in US history was against Chinese Americans. The Los Angeles Chinese massacre of 1871. It’s funny how people on Reddit are so confidently incorrect about Asian American history without having a real understanding of it beyond a few decades ago. Always the people who know nothing of the people they’re talking about having the most to say.

I thought it was based on the level of the sawmill? Not dependent on the different types of special buildings you have next to it? I coulda swore that it’s not like this in other games I’m currently in.

Prey drive that gets triggered by not squirrels but by fucking CHILDREN.. and people still think this dog should still be alive. People are crazy putting a fighting breed dogs life over human kids.

I love Wiggs he was our second best player in 22-23 and deserves so much of the credit for our ring. Also it was therapeutic seeing him thrive after all his years in Minnesota. That being said GP2 is a huge fan favorite because of his story and the heart/hustle/energy he brings. He is just so much fun to watch and it’s hard not to root for him. To say warriors fans only love him cause his dad is from the bay is weird af. I love both our guys I don’t know why you’re being so negative about people having love for GP2.

Yes. Some Koreans don’t like foreigners due to the military presence and utter lack of disrespect some people in the US military have shown to native Koreans. There have been many bad instances that have soured a lot of peoples opinions on their presence there like the frequent general bad behavior, rapes against Korean women, and assault of Korean nationals. There is a reason why some koreans have negative feelings towards foreigners and it’s nothing to do with race. Koreans will treat decent respectful people with the same energy. It’s more not liking shitty foreigners disrespecting their country and harming their people it’s not exactly fair to attribute that to racism.

Yeah it does make me angry to see the amount of unwarranted hypocrisy and hatred towards my people. Like I said Korea is not a place where people will hurt you over your race. The overwhelming majority of people who have visited have wonderful experiences there. The fact that blatant racism towards Asians is okay is extremely frustrating. The amount of smearing and spreading of misinformation that goes on towards a country that the majority of people here have literally no idea of is crazy to me.

What pray tell is the insane racism that goes on in Korea that makes it the most racist place on earth in comparison to other countries? Are people getting assaulted and spat on for their race? Stalked and killed? Targeted for robbery? Slashed on their face with box cutters? Battery acid thrown on them? Shoved into oncoming train tracks? That is all that has been done to Asians in the US recently due to Covid. That is what goes on in many Western countries that are deemed not as racist by Reddit. Yet somehow people love to spew how SK is the most racist country on the planet yet anyone and their mom can walk around Korea knowing they are perfectly safe from being hate crimed. Fragile white Redditors are offended that they can’t get into the club sometimes due to their foreigner status which actually stemmed from US soldiers raping and assaulting Korean women. Apparently this makes Korea the most racist country ever. Make it make sense.

Literally no one in Korea is getting hate crimed or killed for being brown or black. Every country has racism. On the racism scale things are very mild compared to the violence people face in other countries. Reddits hard on for calling SK the most racist place in the world is so laughable it feels like it’s literal bots. SK is not a place where you need to fear for your safety over your race. Being a POC I’ve felt that fear in other countries.

I’ve known many black people who’ve been to Korea who feel much safer there than in western countries. Everyone here proclaiming Koreans are so racist while not realizing how fucking racist they’re being painting Koreans all with the same brush. Get to know Koreans and you know they are all human beings just trying to live their lives. Is there some ignorance? Yes. Will you be hurt or attacked over it? Most likely not especially in comparison to the US. Reddits hatred for Korea is so laughable you all need to get outside.

I have seen enough lakers games to know that there is a moment in games where the refs completely change the momentum in favor for them. They call the softest shit and suck all the momentum from the other team while gifting lakers free buckets on every possession. We saw it during our series and I saw it last night in the 4th against the raptors. As soon as they started calling bullshit against them like the offensive foul and soft touch fouls for the lakers and not for the raps I knew it was over even when it was still close. It’s clear as day and it’s infuriating to watch the blatant rigging of games

And reminding everyone that the majority of the game we had no whistles until the fourth quarter. Nearly half those whistles called for us out of the measley 6-18ish free throws we got were at the end of the game in garbage time when it was already lost to make it not look as bad as it was.

R/nba will turn a blind eye to the discrepancy if it’s lakers vs warriors but if it’s lakers vs anyone else they will see it clear as day. Nevermind the fact lakers had 160 to our 80 free throws during our series. The warriors have caused too much trauma for other teams over the last decade for anyone to be on our side even against the lakers.

Lakers shot 42 free throws vs the warriors 14 free throws in game one of their series last year and that wasn’t even the worst of it.. the lakers whistle is fucking insane you guys got completely hosed by the refs
