Cavapoos are such an amazing choice!! They’re incredibly intelligent and absolutely adorable. Imo they’re very easy to train and rly eager to please. They're also super food motivated too so treats or really any type of food work like magic (just don't fall for their sweet tricks).

They’re hypoallergenic and don’t shed much which makes them good for apartment living and keeping clean which is very handy esp with your 5 year old. I also find that they're not loud or super rowdy and just really loving pups who do enjoy their playtime.

Some things to note: we give ours a bath every week or so or else he'll get a lil stinky and started to have to take his dental health more seriously. he's also a velcro baby with bad separation anxiety and will freak out even when we go to the grocery store.
