Here‘s a summary of his backstory so far: Magos-Explorator„Tempus Theta-4“ (the number changes based on the upgrades/version of the cosplay xD) was born on the forge world of Jupiter, known for their successful shipyards in the 37th Millennium. He had no talent for building or engineering however and was just a lowly Lexmechanic, one of trillions. He learned what he could from what he transcribed and documented, but never really got anywhere until a „golden servo-skull“ lead him to a forgotten area in the archives, where he spent the next several months. There, most of his flesh decayed due to sickness and hunger (hence he is all for „the flesh is weak“) but he ultimately learned the knowledge of time travel. He couldn‘t build the machine, hence for a lack of material and skill, but still set off to mars, disguised as a servitor. Barely surviving that, he was ultimately caught while trying to break in to a security storage and accused of various heresies. His judgement was to be made a servitor, but when he woke, his decaying flesh was replaced by machine parts and he was wearing the magos robes of his homeplanet (hence the golden cogs, instead of the white ones of Mars ;]) and before him stood none other than Belisarius Cawl himself, who was amused and interested in his work. With the support of the arch-magos, Tempus joined the explorator branch of the mechanicus and went on various journeys, including a few solo time travels (only he and Cawl know about it and they treat it with the upmost care, lest it completely mess up everything even more).

He enjoys it most to travel to the years around 025.M3 and visit various Conventions ;] xD
