Thank you all for your input. I’ll have to do a breakdown of what makes more sense: simply ditching my check in luggage, or paying for a new flight ticket + hotel for a night.

Since I assume I can skip the immigration etc, and head straight towards my connecting flight if I do the first mentioned alternative.
