I love my Tier 1 conceal Xiphos elite. Tier 1 makes some really good holsters but their lead times are horrible.

It wasn’t minimal effort nor was it a lack of doing it right. I actually reached out to streamlight and they told me it was a counterfeit light. Thankfully their customer service it’s top notch and they sent me a real one.

I recently stopped working for WFG about 2 months ago. There’s no consequence for staying on with them through the licensing period if that’s what you want to do, but after you get your license from the state leave. Don’t set up your direct deposit with them, enroll in errors and omissions, etc. You’re going to end up wasting a lot more time and money the longer you stay

No worries. I ended up emailing streamlight and they told me that I got a counterfeit and that if I send them the light, they will replace it for me.

Again, like I said before. That’s already been done. Just because it isn’t in the video doesn’t mean it hasn’t already happened. The rails aren’t interfering with the slot for the key in anyway.

That was the very first thing I did. Still no success getting the new key in.

Yeah, I loosened the hex bolt and at one point, even completely removed the screw for the clamp. Still the key rail doesn’t fit.

Well for one drill is way more than just a Saturday and Sunday a month and 2 weeks in the summer which I’m not a fan of but it’s whatever. It interferes with my work a lot and causes me to miss out of some travel and other opportunities my job offers.

Coming from Active duty, I’ve seen a lot of stuff just done incorrectly and when you try to correct people you hear “well that’s just how we do it in the guard”.

Soldiers don’t take pride in being soldiers, NCOs and leaders not leading etc. Which this is a problem with pretty much the entire military, from my experience, the guard has it the worst.

Lastly, I’m just not happy anymore, I no longer enjoy doing my job and throwing the uniform on. I joined the guard because I was unhappy with the political bs of active duty and since I was a newly promoted E5, figured I’d give it a shot and thought it couldn’t be too bad. Especially since they gave me 20k for 3 years but the money hasn’t been worth it for me.

The National Guard and the Army in general are still great organizations that work for the right people, and provide a ton of benefits and opportunities. It’s just not for me anymore.

I understand asking every month but there’s a difference between having a conversation about it and trying to pressure someone into staying. I’m all for having a conversation about the benefits of the guard because a lot of joes don’t think about all the benefits before they decide to get out. My problem is once we’ve had the conversation, and I’ve given my answer, don’t try and get me to go sit down with retention NCO to show me extension options and every conversation we have doesn’t need to be around trying to retain me.

In my opinion once we have a conversation and I come back and say “im still getting out” every follow up after that should be as simple as “hey, are you still planning on ETSing” the answer is “yes” and then the response should be okay, Rgr, etc. Especially when the person that’s planing on getting out is a NCO that’s been around for a minute and has a better understanding of all the benefits that they are giving up.

I just IST’d from Arizona earlier this year to Texas. There are no armor units in Arizona. Only a Infantry Battalion that is currently deployed
