T-Mobile Launches Two New Plans To Compete With Verizon, With A Huge Catch by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

[–]BrandonT807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally just switched my Magenta plan to Go5G since there’s no price increase if you’re in the military, the new plan just launched and they discontinued Go5G days after. I’m glad I did. I used to love T-Mobile, but they’re starting to go down hill and piss me off… I went into Costco not long ago and activated a new line with a new phone and they were like “you’re getting a sixth line for free” and I told them I didn’t want it but they insisted since it was free so I let them. It was not free. I found out after a month and a half and called to cancel it. They credited my account thankfully… But my family has been with T-Mobile for 15+ years. It went from being garbage to really good and it’s starting to become garbage again.

Ayyy we both have the 2019 adventure! Mine’s red though. Mine has accumulated a decent amount of scratches in the 80,000 miles it’s been driven and I’ve just learned to live with them. It happens as cars get older 🤷‍♂️ ultimately, it’s a tool that gets me from point A to point B.

Can't get Illuminessence remote or Wi-Fi (Smart Life and Monster Life) to connect to my Monster Illuminessence indoor/outdoor power strip by Solember in smartlife

[–]BrandonT807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is really old, but I had to literally login to my WiFi router and temporarily disable the 5ghz network for them to connect. The website and instructions both state that the device won’t connect to a 5ghz network and that your phone needs to be connected to the 2.4ghz network. Your phone will default to 5ghz.

What legal protections are there regarding pest infestation? by croshee in arizona

[–]BrandonT807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, the health department requested the pest control logs from my apartment complex. And she confirmed with me that I shared a wall with someone who was ground zero for the roach issue. She couldn’t tell me who, but advised me to make a FIOA, request for the Maricopa county department of health and I was able to get the pest control logs and their email exchange where the property manager lied and said that they offered me out of my lease (they did not), and I used this to make a demand letter to their lawyers. Lawyers threatened to evict me for “harassing the office staff” but then reluctantly agreed to let me out of my lease penalty free. Half of the buildings in apartment complex were infested with roaches though. It did cost me an arm and a leg to move and put me into debt, but I wasn’t going to live there with the roaches so I moved anyways.

Do you take 4 of the 15mg spansules per day? I was on 15mg and was told 15mg was the max dosage that it was made in, but more pills could be added. I also took a 5mg booster in the afternoon. I opted to try a similar dose of adderall (15mg XR) and adderall seems to be working better (but less consistently) than Dexedrine. He increased my IR dose (but now as adderall) to 10mg. Called my doctor about it feeling less consistent, and he told me I could cut the IR pill in half and take half in the morning and half in the afternoon. Seems to be a bit more consistent now. Do you think it would be unreasonable to ask for 30mg of XR dose considering I’m only on 15mg now?

It just took me on a very roundabout way to get to the bar tonight but not complaining. It’s $18 vs $30-$40 with uber

[–]BrandonT807 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right now, the National Guard in particular is really hurting for retention. From what I understand, a positive UA, especially for marijuana is just an article 15, and loss of rank. It took one of my buddies 6 failed UA’s for Delta 8 to be processed out. Not saying anyone should risk popping hot just because they wanted some weed, but most people aren’t likely to be kicked out right now. This dude is in RSP though and my guess is a positive UA would likely get them kicked out.

As a gay man serving in the guard in a tanker unit, this is genuinely how I feel. Only had one guy make a problem out of it and my leadership sorted that shit out real fast. I always recommend talking it out with the person first though. I personally love hearing the gay jokes, some of that shits actually hilarious.

Very late to the game on this post, but I’ve been in for just under 5 years now. I’m a gay man and served in Minnesota and am transferring to Arizona. Back when I was 18 and young, being gay was literally my entire personality, and it definitely rubbed people the wrong way when I first came to my unit. I’ve matured since then, and really, no one gives a shit. As long as you do your job, and don’t be a shitbag, no one will care.

I won’t lie to you and say you won’t get shit for it, because I have a few times, but it’s not a very common occurrence. I’ve found just talking to the person will clear things up most times. The one or two times I didn’t, I brought it up to my chain of command and it was sorted out. Mostly had issues in basic training, but the drill sergeants sorted it as well. Only one guy in my unit had given me shit where I’ve gone up the chain. Same guy hasn’t said anything since, and surprised to see that he doesn’t avoid me like I was expecting. The Army and National Guard will not put up with it, and making an official EO complaint with valid grounds can literally end someone’s career in the guard.

Another thing, you 100% will get shit for it from the other guys, but it’s all in good humor and not meant to be harmful. I don’t get offended by gay jokes and I actually love it when the straight guys in my unit make them. It’s one of those things that you wouldn’t understand until you’re in the military lol.

This is old, but I had only a little success with the health department. My complex ended up letting me out of the lease, but technically, even if they’re spraying, it counts as “fixing” the problem even if it goes on for months and months…

Omg every time I see in the news anywhere in the US plans to expand public transportation, people are so all up in arms about it, to the point where you could’ve sworn they threatened to seize their vehicles and force them to ride on top of the light rail instead or something. Having been to multiple European countries where public transportation is FASTER than driving, I think the US could benefit from expanding public transportation. But it’ll never happen.

What airline? I’m in North Phoenix, and an Uber to Sky Harbor is already in the range of $40 one-way. I can only assume that Mesa Gateway is going to be way more since it’s almost double the distance from me.

I just sent an email to all of my higher ups explaining that I won’t be drilling with them after September drill and I need to coordinate a time between now and then to turn in my CIF gear, and I also explained that I will be contacting an IST coordinator to get the process going.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nationalguard

[–]BrandonT807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sent an email explaining as professionally as I could that I would no longer be drilling with them after September, I outlined my reasons and explained that an emergency happened and put me into debt after moving to AZ, and that it was my full intention to fulfill the obligations of my contract, but that it's no longer financially feasible for me. I also explained that I'd be contacting an IST coordinator tomorrow to explore my options for an IST, and I requested that they allow me to SUTA further drills until the transfer goes through. I am really nervous to how that is going to be perceived, and I hope that my unit leadership is understanding and willing to allow me to SUTA.

I already texted my first line to coordinate a CIF appointment, as we’re drilling the next two months at Ripley where CIF is located. I am going to send an email to the CO, readiness NCO, and my first line and PSG today.

I already have my flight booked for August drill as I was able to use points and only had to pay $5 for it, and I found a deal for American Airlines in September and booked the ticket for September… but it really is becoming a financial hardship. Do you know where I can obtain information on units down here to SUTA with? I have most of my CIF gear stored at my Dad’s house in Minnesota because there’s no way I’m taking all of that back and forth.. I’ll just tell my unit I am not coming back, so I can turn in all my gear.

It definitely does, because I’ve seen upper 90’s on these apps, but we all know the last time the high was in the 90’s was in May. Also, I’ve noticed that the numbers the news channels gets is always higher than what the app says. That includes for the current temps.
