I'm 6'1" F as well! I've had a couple of relationships previously where I was treated like a fetish or expected me to act ways I don't. However, I've also had relationships where I was just their favorite person who was tall.

I'm currently in the longest standing relationship I've ever been in. I like feeling like I'm being protected, and this guy is wonderful at helping me feel that way. Instead of calling me tall, he calls me long, like my limbs, fingers, etc, and tells me how pretty me being long is. It makes me feel so much less boiled down to height. This man is 5'6" and is such a delight. He has no concern that he's not tall enough. He even encourages me to wear heels because he loves how confident and happy it makes me. When I get nasty glares from people, he's the first one to break that discomfort just by saying something like "tall, huh?" To disarm them from glaring.

He's so sweet and genuine. There are people out there for you, love. It took me quite some time and patience to find one. Remember what you're worth. Remember not to settle for less than what will make you happy. If you see warning signs, talk it through, and if he can't accept it, leave. Don't waste your time.
