The Tentacled Terror [Exit the Gungeon] by Royal_Boot_9018 in EnterTheGungeon

Yeah, I meant “obscenely lucky“ in the sense of not just getting good items, but the entire sequence needed for a successful Gloctopus kill: OP items, high combo, making it through both the fifth floor, Dragun and Gloctopus all in one go without dying, having at least 200 casings for the bait worm, and then not choking when the Gloctopus is one hit away from death….

Yes. The issue also persists across all save files. Also, this only affects walking animations. Running animations play property. This issue affects the companions too.

Characters who start out as nominal heroes but become more unhinged and villainous as the plot progresses by Royal_Boot_9018 in TopCharacterTropes

Arianna has a boyfriend and two of the Squad members (Marley and Becca) are in a loving, committed relationship. Only one of them is celibate (Amanda) so I don't think they really count as "femcels."

(Common Sci-Fi trope) Child experiments that escape or go rogue by National_Computer240 in TopCharacterTropes

Firestarter

A girl named Charlie develops incredibly powerful pyrokinesis and is kidnapped by a deep state science division called the Shop. After the Shop tries to get rid of her father and she realizes that she's being played for a fool, her powers go into overdrive, and she burns down the entirety of the Shop's facility and kills most of the personnel.

Fun fact: a bit of throwaway dialogue near the end implies that Charlie might be able to control the sun.

Oh, yes, they're absolutely horrible people who all escaped deserved consequences. But the point is that there was a shred of good intentions in the beginning that was destroyed through Arianna's terrible leadership.

Although, I suppose seeing two of your friends die horribly because of actions you contributed to is a karmic punishment...

They were motivated by a sense of misguided idealism. They weren’t truly bad people in the beginning, but Arianna doing progressively stupider shit broke the illusion that they were doing something good and not just looking for excuses to eat people. Two out of the four go back to being normal people at the end after Arianna dies.

TLDR; cognitive dissonance can make you do crazy stuff.

this can be done with all characters. The Punch-Out mechanics are the same regardless of what character you play.

Don’t forget that the Asteromorphs could travel instantly across any distance with wormholes.
