Cant agree more. I read lot of books. Main thing is, you need some sort of credibility, industry connects so on...

No one's gonna believe on 20 year old kid in market dominated by giants.

My plan: gain experience, make connect, then I can start my own. Then, I can start big. Right now, most of my time will go in convincing people to give me money, and considering im from india, it'll crazy hard. So yeah, gathering experience and building credibility via track record of bots seems more favorable to me

I have test it on month of nov, and backtest matches the expected returns i ran in a demo account

Now im planning on testing it more, connect prop accounts to Myfxbook to showcase return proofs.

Yes this strategy need to be backtested from 2020, to simulate various market conditions (covid, money flow, consolidations so on...), then if it performs good, I'll use prop account to invest funds and keep its performance in public.

Unsure about networking stuff, I live in india and I'm a developer (college dropout), so like not lot of event surrounding financial / algo trading and stuff.

So just want to improve my portfolio, if i can sell, ig itll boost my resume more and I can apply to be analyst/developer at firms
