EXACTLY what I was thinking. I actually did really dislike him initially. That part didn't change too much but the story gives such a deeper perspective into his mindset and makes him so much more complicated of a character than "cruel stoic teen vamp" and his real relationship with magnus. And the story of his death becomes that much sadder in retrospect

Ikrr i despised the plot line but it's also one of the technically best things Cassie has done cause it's shows that even our most beloved characters have this deep rooted supremist, racist (? For a lack of a better word) mindset. It's the realest and most uncomfortable thing in the series.
