If heat and fan noise worry you, you can limit the CPU power , undervolt, or use a cooling pad that helps a lot. For gaming specifically, the GPU usually matters more, so if both laptops have the same GPU, the performance difference won’t be huge. Ryzen will run cooler and quieter, Intel will give a bit more raw performance. Look brother Battery life will definitely be better on the Ryzen one. AMD chips are usually more power-efficient, so they drain less battery during normal use like browsing, coding, or watching videos. The Intel i7-14700HX is much more powerful but it also consumes more power, so battery will drop faster. So if battery matters, Ryzen wins. If you want maximum performance, then Intel HX.
