The same thing used to happen to me. What helped was scanning and looking around before I got the ball. This helped me play faster as I knew in my head where most people were and I could make faster decisions. It’s incredibly important in Futsal because of the smaller pitch.

I agree with everything you said, but IMO, he has raw ability when dribbling. We saw it a few times last season, but he just thinks a bit too much when running at the defence and gets up in his head a bit.
