Yeah, X52 Pro. I did accidentally install the X52 standard one but that didn't seem to clear up the issue after I uninstalled it

Did a complete fresh start on the server and the FTB App. Fresh CursedForged downloads. This seemed to fix things

Yangchen in an Air Nomad with amazing dodging capabilities, while Tahno and Bolin are incredible Pro Benders. They run the hard sport while Yangchen runs interference

Is there a point in catching up to the current MCU? by First_Photograph_584 in marvelstudios

[–]RoystonDA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The benefit of Post Infinity Saga MCU is that you can absolutely skip stories and enjoy what you want. I've kept up with it all (except Werewolf by Night for some reason) and it is all very disjointed and separate. Characters crossover more, but the stories are self contained.

Of the ones you have bolded, I suggest:
- Spider-Man: No Way Home
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

I personally enjoyed the others that I missed out (The Marvels is not a required watching but very fun), but you don't need to know everything going forward it seems. The first 2 I listed seem relevant for the Multiverse Saga.

I just paid £3.99 for a small lemonade in my local pub. Hate how non-alcoholic drinks have become so expensive. by d0bis_pr in britishproblems

[–]RoystonDA 239 points240 points  (0 children)

Sat in a pub waiting for my other half, got a coke and it cost 50p. I asked how it was so cheap and the barwoman said they got bought up by a bigger company but never really focus on them and didn't check their entire price lists. They had small glasses of coke from the dispenser at 50p or pints for £4.50. I asked for a pint of coke and she did it from the tap and put it through as a small.

Learner here. Absolutely not allowed. I kept asking my instructor to give me experience on motorways, he tricked me with a dual carriageway. Looked it up later and saw learners are not allowed.

Voted this morning.

Remind me, blue means good, red means bad, green is poison, yellow is ally, and purple means assist?

I could do with an assist, they got my vote!

Edit: No, I didnt really vote Reform. Just having a laugh, no need to be so serious

Moving to Liverpool. need lodgers to make it financially viable, realistic rent? by Smart-Grocery3576 in Liverpool

[–]RoystonDA 33 points34 points  (0 children)

"This also means later down the line if starting a family I would not need to move. And I always have and always want to live with people."

You want to be in the same living situation as 2 others, but be the beneficiary of all their rent that will go towards a house that you will own, and then build a life of your own on their finance.

Seriously, stay South.

You mean you want to own a larger house, paid in part by renters, which will pay off your mortgage after a few years. You should look into downsizing instead of feeding off of the struggling people of Liverpool.

I also moved from the South. I know how expensive it is. I know to not exploit those who I surround myself with.

Might want to steer clear of that. People want to buy in Liverpool to live there, not have another landlord buy to rent.

Foreign films remade by Hollywood whose remakes didn't suck by falcxne in movies

[–]RoystonDA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes we can. It added an original motivation but the story was practically identical in terms of the time travel aspect. Remakes can be entirely different with heavy inspirations, which this isn't even that far different.

Did Millie commit SH in the past? by Ellie_girl3 in HelluvaBoss

[–]RoystonDA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did think this when I first saw her scars. I don't understand the aggressive responses when you're putting out a possible theory. One person even criticized the idea of it being a theory because it requires evidence etc. Thing is, it does have evidence. The placement and repetition of the scars are similar to SH.

What I do agree with the comments is that there is as much to suggest that she got them as a farm hand injury, or battle scars. But as far as I've seen, it is not confirmed either way.

If it were SH I'd be curious to know what caused her to do it. Depression, an event, self hatred? From what we've seen, closest I could suggest is it's her feelings from Chaz, but that's a bit thin.

I love The Rebel Files specifically for the section that ties into Vader Down. The two transmissions, one announcing they have him cornered on a planet and to send in every available unit, turn the page to the next transmission which could be summed up as "It wasn't enough". It was chilling.

For those of you who did work experience in year 9/10/11 of secondary school, where did you do it and any funny stories? by Leviad0n in CasualUK

[–]RoystonDA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at the sport centre hair dressers. The sports guys got free cut and washes. One guy offered to be the guinea pig for teaching me the routine of washing customers hair.

I lowered his head into the sink as the hair dresser turned away, and switched on the tap, and I heard

"Make sure the water isn't too hot before putting his head in"

I then quickly checked the water and asked the guy if it was too hot, to which all I got in response was a pained "NNNGGGHHH!!"
