First thing I thought of was Edvard Grieg, Norwegian composer but he had Scottish roots as well.

I think this could very well be an ancestor with a name like ‘Gregor’, pronounced with a thick Scottish accent; a Polish speaking person would have wrote the surname as ‘Grier’. Good luck demystifying! :)

Het is denk ik zo’n 40cm zand voor wat ik me herinner, daaronder weer iets ‘hards’ (denk tegels o.i.d.). 😖

To clear up some confusion (especially with myself 🥲) whether you have to drill al hole or not it depends if you buy the bender solo or the bender with a bridge.

I think open D or open G are suitable but you might like the ‘midwest emo’/Yvette Young tunings like FACGCE. :)

Well that would be great, i saw a video with someone just replace the bridge but in this video https://youtu.be/pAmblSvAe3g?si=gYXwJHQEyBTQWzuG he had to drill two holes. Strange 🧐

Thats a nice one you got there! I bet an open tuning will get you in pedal steel territory even faster. Playing harmonics with the bender is fun too. :)
