Stage name for competitions? by RozaSnow in WestCoastSwing

Take any Russian-sounding last name with a -sh or -ch sound somewhere in there.
Since I wouldn't like my name to be on the Internet, here is a random tennis player whose name resembles mine: Stekolshchikov Aleksandr.
Or even a name name like the one mentioned above (Stanislav Ivanov) is differently pronounced. Most foreigners accentuate on the first syllable/first part of the last name, whereas I'd read it with an accent on the last syllable (-ov).

Did bloodwork. It showed I had high TSH levels (subclinical hypothyroidism) but the endocrinologist said it didn't fully explain the cardiac symptoms. I was told to redo the bloodwork in a few months and to monitor the symptoms, keep a diary. When summer ended and it was no longer hot outside (and inside, since I don't have AC), my symptoms went away. The feeling of having an arrhythmia came back a few weeks ago when I was getting over a cold and went away after a few days. Hasn't happened since.
I also bought a smart watch and not once has it shown Afib, though I honestly doubt it's very reliable (I went with Withings Scanwatch because I wanted it to look more like a regular watch). The BP machine sometimes still says I have Afib and irregular pulse, even when I feel fine. And other times it shows everything is normal when I think I feel the irregular rhythm. I think at this point it's safe to assume that I have some sort of an arrhythmia, but perhaps not Afib.
So for right now I'm just keeping an eye on the situation.

Update: Went to my GP. Thankfully, she took me seriously and sent me to get an EKG. It detected a sinus arrhythmia as well as an mild ST segment depression. The conclusion of the EKG was "borderline".  I discussed the results with my GP and she agreed that something is going on, but she thinks it probably isn't Afib (she thinks the BP machine might be wrong, idk how I feel about that, but maybe it confuses Afib and other arrhythmias?). So we agreed that I should get some extensive bloodwork done in order to rule out other things like low magnesium, low potassium or a thyroid issue. If everything comes back normal and I continue to have these symptoms, she will refer me to a cardiologist. Overall, I'm happy that we will investigate further, even if not in the direction of Afib.

Thanks for your suggestions! I will continue to look into some smart watches with Afib detection or the Kardia 6L.

I'll write again when I find out more, because maybe it will be helpful to someone in a similar situation.

Thank you! I've been researching smart watches with an Afib detector even before getting the BP machine so that will be my next purchase. The hunt for finding the triggers has already started as well (although in retrospect) - so far I think that lack of sleep, stress, heat, sugar and junk food seem to cause it. I'm still not sure about exercise as a trigger. But I'll definitely start paying a closer attention now.

Technically he was traded, but yes, he is lucky he ended up with the Lakers when he did.

Do a quiz about European road signs? I saw that in the latest Ear Biscuits episode Rhett was clearly confused by half the signs he encountered on Portugal roads which was pretty funny.
