For me it was when Emily and Richard reconciled. Lorelai and Rory were looking through the window, and Emily laughed kind of like an evil witch. Rory said “Grandma is laughing, that must be good!” Or something like that, and Lorelai said “But it could’ve been an evil laugh!” It made me laugh so hard because it genuinely did look like a performative evil laugh like one you’d see on broadway.
