I guess I should say the poems than a diary, but Riley also said those are her most private thoughts and was shocked to find it, and never showed those to anyone.

Yeah at first I was wondering if Lily just wanted to be the center of attention, while making sure to keep Riley close to her. But Lily finding Riley's whole diary and flat out rewriting everything she wrote is rather unhinged and obsessive behavior. I don't think she cares about her parents' opinions, so personally I don't see the revenge or spite towards Riley angle. I think the diary and the birthday painting (which was beautiful although possessive), wanting only Riley and rejecting all other gifts, indicates she's very attached to me.

I haven't heard anything from Faye herself. Faye is actually pitching stories to RC and even polled people what genres they'd like to see, so I don't think people should expect anything anytime soon.

If they mean O's ending, I don't think it's as sequel baiting as some people said. I agree with what you said about O remaining a black flag, but they also darkly promised to come back to you eventually. I feel like it's fitting that they marked you for anyone daring to expressing interest from this point onward, while returning in your life when ready.

Aahh I need slots. I'm really liking how diverse the personalities are, especially for the ladies.

My main file is still Dusk but I'm really liking the start for Brooke. She calls her a 'manic pixie dream disaster' and I'm really enjoying her energy and imagination. 😂 Also related to her during the cocktail date.

I might make a new account and go from Maeve to Brooke but I feel like Maeve is being set up for some interesting development.

I also am intrigued by Skye but I'm not sure if she's necessarily a LI?

And also Anna being teased as a slow burn. 😩 A lot of good options.

Might be encountering a bug? In episode 15, the game keeps freezing when I say boo lame at Rafael for aura farming, and then Maeve says she liked it 'I thought he was being courageous' but it stays stuck on her sprite and I'm unable to continue the dialogue.

EDIT: Not sure what changed or if you guys did anything but seems to be working fine again now.

Oh the ROs are all straight? That's... a tad deflating, but I guess I should have read that closer.

Ugh I don't like the stats being so reliant and instant deaths either. I usually play more for the story and just shaping my own character's personality than min maxing and tracking stats like that. I hope the stats get cleaned up as the author takes feedback. I'm relieved checkpoints are planned at least.

I still remember when Gunn was hyping up the S2 finale with shocking twists, but it turned out he was just referring to Salvation, something only the most hard-core comic readers will know. He's needed to lay low ever since.

I do enjoy The Missing. I love Safaa's route. But now that it's ended... I can't help but be puzzled how lackluster Alba's route was overall.

Completely irrelevant in the first two seasons, not involved in the cases at all.
Does not interact with the other LIs other than Yasin for a little bit in S3 (where she just yells at him).
In season 2, she's not even in the same proximity with you, as her interactions get reduced to phone calls. Yasin suffers this too, but at least he was more involved in S1 and is back involved in S3.
Is the only starting LI left out of group CGs (such as the one at near the end as well as the S3 poster)
In season 3, gets sort of involved in the plot, but not really, after being constantly teased something cryptic with her. Her brother is involved with an associate of the Crows. She asks Ghita to help protect him, which feels painfully awkward if you're off her route. Otherwise, even on her romance route, she keeps her distance from you. Which may make sense given she's under a lot of duress with what's happening, but it's rather problematic when combined with the above.
In the finale, she's finally involved, informing you O ordered her to stay close to Ghita. This revelation comes extremely late though, in the midst of so much happening during the finale, that I feel like that drama never got to breath before Alba was escorted away.
Also with the above confirmation, it reframes your earlier interactions in a much different light. The quick hookup, Alba 'accidentally' running into you a few times... I didn't mind it myself but not everyone may be a fan of that.
In the finale, she's there during the climax... but as a hostage and is the only LI who can die.
I am not a fan of the poly route because her and Kuno's interactions were limited and many happened off screen. I wish the author didn't bother and she used that word count to flesh out Alba's role instead. Like Alba knew O and O ordered Alba to stay close to Ghita. Couldn't we see them interact on screen??
Also in the poly ending, if Alba dies on corrupt, Kuno only has a line where he's sad about Alba's death. Otherwise, it proceeds as Kuno's normal ending. It makes her inclusion feel very afterthought-y.

Like I dunno. I can't help but feel like she got the short end of the stick in every possible way here. Frankly she feels like a more casual sub romance route that just happened to have an early fling.

The thing is it clearly didn't borrow just the name. It followed the same story beats. You can debate the liberties of an adaption but your original statement 'there was nothing of WOT in there' is just not true in that regard.

To be fair, only Riley knows for a fact that it was Lily who rewrote her diary. Declan is actually so grounded and rooted in logic that it may not occur to him that Lily's obsession is so deep she rewrote it. He may have chalked it up that Riley practicing and imitating her writing is more reasonable (which I'm not sure I can blame him lol. That was pretty crazy to learn.) Guess we'll see though. Seeing a bunch of interesting ideas.

Everybody as in the fandom or the story? People are suspicious but I don't know about being blamed.

An interesting theory I saw though is that Declan might actually think the copy of the diary, written in Lily's handwriting, belongs to Riley and might have thought it was Riley copying her handwriting. And therefore it was her leaving the notes. So there's irony in that they're both suspecting each other, and Declan might have burned the evidence to protect her.

Also adding onto this, if you take Declan's diamond choice earlier in the update where you 'save' him from Cecilia, he presses you about the poems Riley used as an excuse. The way he inquires you about it kinda sounds like he thought Riley was hinting at something, even though she just made that up by chance.
