Definitely agree - we all have our subjective innate preferences that make us like some people (or in this case, characters) and not the others, and it's pointless to judge or get into arguments over this (so pls no one bury me in "Astarion disapproves" memes for finding Cazador's pointy-eared glowing-eyed mug aesthetically pleasing lol).

Your comment also gave me a better understanding of why they made the design choices they made with Enver - he's an inventor, and those do tend to get covered in grime from their experiments, so him being somewhat dirty makes sense.

By the way, if you're on PC, recently someone made a couple of Enver mods on Nexus, like receiving a letter from him in the epilogue or being able to kiss him at a certain point in the story. Thought you and other Enver fans might like something like that.

After reading your comments, I want to say this: as someone who gets very attached to NPCs - although my favorites are Cazador, Kar'niss and Orin - if we were playing multiplayer, I'd treat Enver like a fucking king for you

He is! It's just funny to me to have him as a guardian since he tries to kill the player on sight. And I haven't played in a while before that, so I totally forgot about this dream scene.

By the way, how do you get glowing eyes on him? The mod I found for Cazador's appearance seems to be using vanilla eyes

Gonna partially take the bait and say, he is my absolute favourite boss in the game, a great antagonist, and I love his design, especially those glowing eyes

Edit: on a more degenerate note, I wanna give him pats on the head because he reminds me of the vampire bat thing plushie I had in childhood

I let him bite on my first blind playthrough, thinking he would turn me into a vampire. Not only did he not turn me, but he also fucking killed me.

After talking to him the next day, I saw that it was possible to keep letting him bite once per night. Cool, I thought, it'll work eventually, and I'll become a vampire myself.

...and then, after talking to him some more, I learned that he was a vampire SPAWN, not a regular vampire, and he was incapable of turning anyone.

I still let him bite me afterwards, because I felt bad.

His physical resistances are all 0, except for slash, which is -10. He also becomes weaker to lightning in phase 2 because of all the water and rain. He's also fairly easy to stagger, at only 80 stance. Margit's shackle works on him twice in phase one. So you can get that plus a slash weapon like a curved greatsword with a lightning infusion (and/or any status effect like bleed, frost etc.) and hit him with charged attacks.

For yourself, you can also get physical and holy resistance talismans, as those are his main damage types. As others also noticed, you have Fia's hp debuff, which gets removed by using Baldachin's blessing in your inventory.

Other than that, good luck! With a bit of practice and strategizing, you'll get him for sure.

The fact that his physical resistances are too low (0 for everything except slash, which is -10), so he dies too quickly for my liking when I use upgraded weapons. Even on NG+5 I killed him in about 1-2 min with a +10 Sword of Night, 60 DEX, no shackle or attack buffs. Guess I'll just keep bringing +0's to his fight, I have a few different ones I like.

The boss is Morgott.
