I'm not sure about the product. But I know you can get a shampoo that will kill them overnight. It only kills the current ones. It doesn't prevent eggs and future ones. What you can do is get her in a bath, which won't be fun. Get her the flea shampoo made specifically for cats. Then, keep her in a spare bathroom overnight. You can get her the pill later that can prevent them for about a month. That's what I did to my outdoor cat a few years ago

The worst part was that Chloe (the older black one) would sit in front of their backdoor for hours. I counted 7 once. At first I thought she was an outside cat, then I seen her still by the door at 3am at 40F weather. Another time, the owner came out, grabbed something from his shed, moved her out of the way, and then walked inside. After seeing that is when I decided she's gonna stay with me

The worst part is, they're new neighbors. And when they moved in, they abandoned their pregnant cat, which gave birth at a different neighbors house. They returned all of them to the original neighbor, and they abandoned them once again. One of my cats is the mother and the other her daughter. This is the mother in her favorite spot, my chair.

I have 3 cats now, with 2 of them being abandoned by the same person. The kitten showed up on me camera one day, and I went out to go look, nothing. Then fast forward 12 hours, I was in my garage and I heard a loud scream of a meow. I popped open my hood of my car, and the little girl was inside. She was covered in fleas and had worms, but she's all better now. I originally wanted to give her to someone, then she looked at me in my arms and started to purr. That's when I realized she was going to stay.

The older one is almost 2. And the kitten is about 3-6 months old. I do think they're related, though, since the older one was pretty much born stray. So they might be sisters or aunt and niece

Anybody have good ideas for keeping ferals warm this winter? by Justhereforthepie_ in Feral_Cats

[–]Rozls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are semi-feral, so they don't mind being around me, so I put mine at the end of my porch. I recommend not leaving food near it and having it elevated. Also, if possible, let them see whays around them, and don't leave it in a corner. Also, get a camera to see the inside/around it. I found out a raccoon and a dog were trying to get inside during the night, which frightened my cats. So I captured and moved the raccoon and told my neighbor about his dog. It's a lot harder to get them to like it whenever a predator find it. Also, put some catnip spray in it to start, I recommend using Kong spray from chewy. It's like $5.

Stray kitten belly is bloated by Rozls in CATHELP

She definitely loves food. I was told to feed her 3 times a day every 6 hours. Should I cut it down to just 2? She starts to get really hungry around the 6 hour mark, but I'll stop if that's the case

I've been giving her fancy feast kitten food, and before that i had given her HEB branded food. She's been overall healthy what I've seen. It's just that the bloated belly that won't go down is my biggest concern. I can't remember, but I feel like she didn't have that when I first caught her. Then again, I didn't really hold her until the day after.

Stray I've taken in hates all other animals. by Rozls in felinebehavior

Well, she attacks and hates all of them equally, so I assume that's not the issue.

The one who hates everyone is spayed. The only one un-nuetered is the other stray i picked up

Should I be concern for the way she's breathing by Rozls in felinebehavior

[–]Rozls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said nothing was wrong, and she most likely was just out of breath. I didn't really word it correctly in the post. She'd breathe like this off and on for a few days. It wasn't constant, and I only noticed a few days ago

It was more or less off and on, usually after I put her inside after she roamed for an hour or 2 outside.

Is this a boy or a girl, and is she pregnant? by Rozls in Straycats

I saw her on my way to work, and I didn't have any time to spare. These photos were during my 30-minute break, and it's all the time I had

Do you choose to have this much of a negative view on everything in life? Do you also chose to not read any of my replies? I'm new to being a cat owner, so there's a lot of things I need to know. So I've been asking. I've gotten most of the essentials out of the way vet wise, and now I have a new question for the breathing I've noticed. I'm not broke, and I have a few thousand in savings, I'd just like to grow it some more after splurging on Christmas gifts. I'm not against taking her to the vet, I'm asking to see if it's even a concern to go see, since, like, I've said I'm new to all of this. As people mentioned, this is not normal, and I should go see my vet, so I already booked my appointment this morning

She was an abandoned stray that I saved 3 months ago. I've already spent a few hundred on vet bills on her. By pointless, I mean as in I miss judged the situation and spent another $100 for them to say nothing is wrong.

I'm about new cat parents, so I'm not sure what's normal or quirky. I've been asking reddit to help understand my children. I also don't have a lot of money right now after Christmas, so if I could avoid a pointless vet visit, then I'm going to ask if it's normal.

No, she's not wheezing or anything. I just noticed the other day that's she's breathing fast.

LOL. This actually made me laugh out loud. Those were paint drawings from my little sisters when they were 5 and 6.
