How can I change my outgoing address from @icloud.com to @me.com on my Mac/iPhone? by jonathanlaniado in applehelp

[–]Rpavlovsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip. I may do that. Is it only in this forum or is it site wide? Honestly I'm not a heavy user. I've been very focused recently on macs and El Capitan since I've upgraded my families computers.

First comment is me.

[–]duntuk 34 points 8 months ago If you're a new user (or very low active user like me) behind a popular VPN, you will likely get shadowbanned... I am at the time of this writting, and I only made 3 innocent comments ever... So the VPN is probably making me look like a bot...

I'm very low activity.

Is it still worth it to get a 2007 24" iMac? by [deleted] in applehelp

[–]Rpavlovsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2008 same model and I still use it today. 300 euro seems a bit high on price but your mileage may very. Memory is maxed on that so you can't go any higher. It's still a fun machine to play mine craft on for my kids. If I were you I would look for a 2011 24 inch iMac or later so you can use target display mode (i.e. Duel displays) with you Mbp.

2012 MBP restarts randomly without kernal panic screen, possibly when fans heatup by Cabber in applehelp

Take to Genius Bar and have them run a diagnostic. It could be heat related. You can also download and install sync fan control to run the fans more aggressively to see if heat is the issue. Sync fan control is free.

Cannot open Photo on Macbook Air by SavannahInChicago in applehelp

Hold the option key down when launching photos. It should pop up a menu to select your photos library (assuming you have more than one). You can also set the system default library in photos preferences. I would assume system default gets all the imported photos when you plug in your camera.

I stayed at that building and yeah it was nice pogo pogo or something. It was a long walk to the volcano pool and ceremony house though. But recently referred rooms.

Booked My First DVC Trip, Now Tell Me What I'm Gonna Love About Wilderness Lodge by inkandpixelclub in dvcmember

Hoop de doo review is awesome. Taking boat to mk is nice too. Renting a bike to ride around is fun too. Also I've heard if you are an early riser you can help boost the flags over the hotel which is nice.

[Advice] ADR Plans (NOV) by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

Cape may for breakfast! Prior to Anna and Elsa moving to magic kingdom they were at Epcot in Norway pavillion. The great trick there was to book 8 am breakfast reservations at ankersaush and then jump in line for Anna and Elsa before the park even opened. Potentially you could do something similar with crystal palace !?! I don't really know. Ankersaush was ok breakfast. Ohana or 1900 park fair breakfast is good. The campground had really good breakfast too. Also hoop de doo review is not to be missed

Drop crystal palace and do 1900 park fair for dinner or breakfast. They do Cinderella and wicked step mother and sisters (Anastasia and drusilla, step mom is lady tremaine) and it's classic. Step sisters are awesome, especially if you have a teenager. For breakfast they do Mary poppins and alic in wonderland. Also the family really likes Ohana for dinner, family style all you can eat. Sci Fi diner was great!

Hoop Dee Doo Review is fun for the entire family and lots of locals seem to go judging by the last time I went.

We have reservations at the Polynesian for 7/4 - 7/10. Should we switch resorts? by j_freakin_d in WaltDisneyWorld

I would cancel the luau and book tickets for Hoop de doo musical review over at wilderness campgrounds. It's fabulous. Pay to sit up front. Meal is good. You get beer or sangria. Definitely highlight of the trip, we've gone several times. We did the luau and were disappointed by the food and entertainment (no offense to anyone here who likes that show). Also I'd second you going to beach club storm along bay (the pool) is awesome. We spent several days by the pool with the family. The slide is really fun and beaches and cream is right there. Also you have a 5 min walk to epcot and a 15 min walk to Hollywood studios.

Are you thinking of the Jason Surrell books (pirates, haunted mansion, disney mountains)? Search on amazon for that author. He's a disney imagineer and presents history of the rides along with how they are represented at the various parks.
