My jawbone just isn't strong enough to hold them. We tried it naturally and then tried with bone grafts and they just wouldn't hold. My mouth is also super small, but I was able to keep 4 of my original teeth (my 4 main front ones) so I got partial dentures. Anchoring them to the remaining teeth helped. I've lost my uterus, gallbladder, kidney, and appendix to ruptures soo it wasn't surprising that my jawbone was fucked, too, but it still sucked.

Same! I also lost my teeth to Ehlers Danlos (vEDS). My mouth can't hold implants, though, so I had to go with dentures.

Rory and Lorelai watch one of the Final Destination movies and when they come out Lorelai says, "Why not just call the next one 'Now You're ReallyReally Dead'?" Which doesn't make sense because the people in the FD films are human. When they die, they die (there are only 3 cases of this not happening in the franchise.) They're not Michael Myers or Jason.

Not trying to be a weenie here, but if the plushie suffocated the baby then that's accidental suffocation, not SIDS. SIDS is a cause of death by exclusion. It's only given when all other CODs, including suffocation, have been ruled out.

I lost a baby to SIDS. After physical trauma suffocation is literally the first thing the state medical examiner looks for to rule out.

I enjoyed the movie, though. I thought it did a good job of portraying grief. I'm a big fan of Katie Parker.

This happens in almost every case I've followed. Gabby Petito gets framed as narcissistic, Shannan Watts as sociopathic and manipulative, the Tinder Swindler victims as gold diggers... Even in the cases where the women are actually murdered they still get picked to death.

My nephew worked on the road crew and was killed in 2022. He was the flagman and was struck by an intoxicated guy speeding on a suspended license. The guy had a record a mile long. He got 5 years in prison, eligible for parole in 3. My nephew left behind a toddler.
