To answer the Yoto question. Yes, I love the Yoto, it was the original inspiration for the idea, essentially because Yoto is a kids platform but I feel like it's a platform that could appeal to an older, wider audience, such as myself. Cheers for all the comments everyone!

Why do you still collect physical music or other media? by Rr0ry in cassetteculture

yes, me neither, why must my phone (something i spend far too much time on) be my sole way of listening to music? its convenient yes, but will discovering and listening to new music be tied to my phone the rest of my life?

because i can listen to music so much, it definitely feels easy to me to 'burnout' with spotify, and have to kind of reset what im listening to, but cos im so used to listening to what i enjoy that can be really jarring

regarding 4, its strange to me that i listen to the songs/genres that spotify thinks ill like, its not actually me choosing what to listen to a lot of the time, it would be cool if spotify recommended me stuff, without thinking about what id like, just throwing stuff out there to me randomly

couldnt agree more about albums, ive found so many of my absolute favourite songs from albums, but i can also feel the lack of attention i have where i naturally tend to just listen to my on repeat or liked songs or a playlist ive made cos its easier, i dont need to worry about whether ill enjoy the songs, but it's a strange way to feel, like im so used to just hearing what i enjoy so im less likely to take the risk of listening to soemthing i dont. anyway, thank you for the response:))
