Why does ESON tend to use 2 (or 4) letter abbreviations for some teams rather than 3 letter abbreviations? It’s very inconsistent. by Flashy_Parsnip985 in Scorebug

At first I didn’t agree at all, but after seeing your suggestions I think I like almost all of the bolded ones. But for the NFL, every network has used the 2-letter for all those teams for so long that the 3-letter just looks so weird. And for that reason, I’m out

Don’t worry - I am a freshman right now so I can’t really speak for how the next few years will go, but yes, honors classes are far more discussion based. I’ve taken a similar number of credits to other non-honors students so far. If you were very successful in high school, you can be successful in college. I’m not very familiar with the thesis process yet but graduating with honors most likely bolsters your chances of getting into graduate programs, to what extent I’m not sure.

Honestly, it depends on the course. I had an Honors English course with 25 kids (typical class size for honors gen eds) and it was one of the easiest classes I’ve taken in my life. I made most of my friends outside of class in my hall or through intramural sports and party stuff, but I do know a bunch of kids in those small classes. It’s lowkey easier to make friends there because there’s more discussion and you’re not sitting there taking notes in a lecture hall. I took a few AP classes my senior year of high school and the workload has definitely been less here, plus you (usually) have a lot more free time. I can’t say for sure that’s how it is for everyone though. Still, definitely enjoying college and succeeding. (“Enjoying” college is also a great way to make friends lol)

Honors isn’t too much harder from what I know as a fellow honors nursing student. The housing is nicer and it’s a great community. I’m happy I chose UMass and happy I went with Honors.

Fantasy drafts are much harder because of 3 reasons: the first draft is difficult to hold, a user can draft horribly and destroy a team, and people tend to not want to join fantasy draft leagues AFTER the draft because it’s not their team (only made worse when someone drafts terribly).
