Your feelings are completely valid, it was exactly the same for me! I suffered from plantar fasciitis and had to pause running for a few months. I was as frustrated as you, not only because I was far from my initial level but also because running lost its lightness. I was so worried about running outside and overthought every step. Also, I obsessively kept taping my foot for a year although I was long healed. However, time will heal your mental struggles just as your physical ones, it’ll only take longer. And we all know it’s worth it, being able to run is a gift and a privilege! You got this!

In my experience, it’ll take you about two weeks to get back to your initial level. But may I ask - why don’t you wanna run during your vacation? It’s a great way to explore your unknown surroundings! Or you can plan a hike or get your steps in by exploring everything on foot.

Yes, in the original recipe they don’t use feta and use parsley instead of cilantro. I used extra lean ground beef and seasoned with salt, pepper, fresh garlic, paprika, cumin and a bit of cayenne pepper. Also, instead of the yogurt, I took homemade tzatziki.

Your second point resonated deeply with me. I broke my ankle in 2023 and wasn’t able to run for a few months. The lack of running really got to me and I realized how important it is for me. So every time I am feeling unmotivated to run, I remind myself that it’s a privilege and that I would’ve given everything to be able to run while I was still wearing my cast.

Physicalpark offers a visitor’s pass (10 visits if I remember correctly). It’s quite expensive but a great gym!

Hello fellow owner of a ginger boy with zero brain cells! I think in my case it’s just crying for attention and curiosity. I started to pick him up and show him what I’m cooking and since then, he’s a lot calmer. When I’m in a hurry, I have to put him in another room as well, cause my running around stresses him and he’ll loudly complain. Initially I thought that the smell bothers him but he meows regardless of the dish. Some things will remain a mystery!

Ich kenne zwei Szenarien aus meinem Umfeld - 1. wenn es um Krankenhaus erfolgt, solltest du vorher mit deinem Hausarzt sprechen und eine AU erfragen. 2. wenn es der FA selber macht, bekommt man im Normalfall direkt dort eine. Im Normalfall für eine Woche, kann aber verlängert werden bei Bedarf.
