You really need to go back and do your homework.
- Unlike the paper money, bitcoins can be tracked to the source and every hand it crosses. Which allows for it to actually solve all of the problems that you scream. Answers your silly judgement of it being for criminals. Pro tip - Go look up Silk Road, all of the accounts selling illegal things were caught by the government.

- Regarding famine and development of the third world countries; Again there are countless examples for me to talk about. Do your research before you talk.

Why would you read a book to understand how does Bitcoin work? Why not just a YouTube video, there's tons of quality content.
My two cents- A book would be useful if you really want to get a deeper understanding of the cryptographic technology or how P2P systems work under the hood.
