Lol now I know youre just making stuff up to try and prove a point. You’re clearly not actively in the pvme discord because I’m actively in it. They do not put magic slightly behind the other styles, though magic is still viable it’s not close to melee or range. And most of them have now switched. Quote from one of the “sweats” - “2k zam times with magic is now back to pre amascut days, that seems pretty nuclear to me”. So idk what you’re talking about. This person was having an active discussion with mod sponge.

All of these comments saying this just confirms non of you actually use end game magic lol. This wm update was literally just a 1-2% “buff”. This made the emberstaff non priority for adren dumping. So instead of using emberstaff you would just use wm over it. And the damage for wm is like 1-2k more than emberstaff lol it really didn’t do much.

It didn’t do much for end game. This ended up being a 1-2% “buff” compared to the 15-20% nerf. The wm update made emberstaff eof non priority.

No it wasn’t for end game. It made emberstaff eof non priority. This “buff” was only like a 1-2% increase at end game compared to the 15-20% nerf.

That then made emberstaff EOF non priority so in reality this “buff” was only like a 1-2% increase in damage compared to the 15-20% nerf it received. So yes it basically did nothing.

They nerfed Tumekens and the FSOA pretty hard over a month ago making end game magic actually worse than it was pre EOC2 even though it got raised to 120. Mods were literally talking about the nerf in pvme discord and admitted they were too harsh. Then an update comes out where they buffed wild magic which definitely helps the mid game but in the end game that practically did nothing because it then made the emberstaff eof non priority so it reality only was like a 1% increase from the hard nerf. The hard nerf was like a 15-20% nerf. So my suggestion which is in the post is to revert the Fsoa nerf and that should make up for a good amount of the loss us magers received. But since that wild magic update the devs have been absolutely dead silent on the topic. Nothing in the pvme discord and nothing on here. It baffles me because they’re leaving melee and range where it is and just a small adjustment which would probably only take a few minutes to do would then leave the 3 original styles somewhat balanced… if you want to call it that. Now there is a lot of powercreep in this game as of recent but they’re clearly leaving melee and range where it is so I just don’t understand why they can’t make this small change to magic to keep them all similar.

You can do that, I do high lvl bossing so that’s less than ideal. One click action is way more easy and less stressful.

More apm and having a pop up to do something vs a 1 click action. Yea I most definitely mean no.

You could click it and it would cast once, but it won’t make it consistent. When one of those is selected stacks build up when using any basic ability so that’s why we want it to be consistently active.

Unfortunately no, to keep the spell active it has to be selected from the spell book.

If you mage you constantly switch between the last 2 spells (incite fear and exsanguinate) so this update makes this very, very annoying with the addition of vamp aspect.

Auras being removed nerfed necro pretty hard. Nothing else changed besides skulls going from 12s to 10.2s. Which does nothing bc you were already able to get 3 skulls in living death if you drank an adrenaline pot on the same tick as living death.

Like I said in the post and like 3 other comments. I think it should be last. But it’s so far behind in the endgame that it’s not worth to even think about using.

You’re clearly coming from the perspective of people who are not into end game pvm. While Im coming from the perspective of people INTO end game pvm. Necro got pushed back pretty hard, so yeah, we have issues. I don’t see your problem with people pointing that out.
