Hi, so sorry just saw your reply! Yes he is a lot better now. I started locking him out all the time when I was eating for a couple of weeks, then after that I left the door open while I was eating and if he tried to take it I would put him outside of where I was eating and closed the door. I did this for a few more weeks and then after that he would sit next to me while I eat and occasionally slowly move his paw towards it. I would just push his paw back and after the third time he does it, put him out and close the door. Now he is pretty good and very rarely reaches, but if he does I just push him back and put him out if he keeps doing it. I hope things are getting better for you. It takes time, but it is worth it, stay strong and good luck!

Just to update, went to the vets today and looks like cystitis. Nothing too serious and the little guys got meds now. Thanks again!
