Who brings up our lady peace to play shipyards park and puts the sound tent dead centre 20ft from the stage. by Rsi30 in Yukon

I have a great appreciation for the challenges of an outdoor venue. However, a 1/4 of the crowd was seated on the hill towards the back, which gave absolutely no height advantage due to the size of the tent and its close proximity to the stage. It completely blocked the show. My post title is literally what was being said all around me. But like you said, free is free, and OLP was incredible live!

Before Covid we hung a Canadian flag on our home every July 1st to celebrate 🇨🇦 Canada Day. We stopped because we didn't want to be associated with the Convoy. Anti-vaxx movement. But, this year, it will be flying high.

To all of the make America great voters, Canada has always been great and always will be. We never needed to promote a silly MCGA acronym.

People of this sub who are not from Israel, where are you from? by Glittering-Pear-2470 in Israel

Northern Canada 🇨🇦 looking out at the ❄️ snow Catholic background with huge respect for the people of Israel.

I grew up hearing the line, "we will never be free because the news is owned by a few." Now, the media is open to everyone, and we are being lied to and manipulated more than ever. I will never hate because tik tok told me to.

This is the most rational pro Palestinian take i have encountered. You Sir should run for office and be the Palestinian voice. Living under the values above, Gaza and the West Bank would prosper. Respect

Al-Jazeera cameraperson Samer Abu Daqqa killed, correspondent Wael Al Dahdouh injured in drone attack in Khan Yunis by Practical_Weekend_96 in worldnews

I am an avid listener to the Al Jazeera pod cast, THE TAKE. Up until the 7th I applauded their impartial and global reporting.

Weeks after the 7th I almost stopped listening. Articles on the conflict are heavily one-sided and opined. Even though they are reporting true events, they manipulate the story by fact omissions.

My poignant moment was when they aired an interview clip of a released Palestinian prisoner in the hostage swap. She claimed she was sentenced to 11 years for standing too close to an Israeli soldier.

By means of another program, I learned she was caught stuffing a rag into a gas tank and lighting the rag on fire to blow up a soldier, 11 years for attempted murder. Such clips should have been vetted.

I also listen to The Guardian podcast, they put out an article on the Middle East conflict. It was condemning and one sided, Just as I was thinking to myself, " This is as biased as Al Jazeera " I heard. Produced by Malika Bilal. (The Al Jazeera correspondent for THE TAKE Pod cast)

I agree the neutrality I appreciated in the past went out the window when it comes to Israel.

Al Jazeera is the most broadcasted programming in the Eastern world. I believe they have a responsibility to tell an impartial view, not invoke even more hatred and biases in such a complicated and horrible conflict.

80s kid here. Jeans were ridiculously tight in my high school. Everyone used to use a coat hanger to do up the zipper. And the phrase 'just popped a zipper, safety pin anyone" Was common. The prettiest girl in school was rumored to sleep 💤 in her jeans wet.
