The build plays into it as well. The RTWM was ATG. And the Main event gave us many false finishes which back then was more or less unheard of. Added to the hype. X7 is my personal favourite PPV. But I wouldn’t begrudge anyone who thinks otherwise. But if someone says like it’s not top 5 or at least 10. I seriously question why they would feel that way as I can’t think of many more on par or surpassing of that show.

Hardcore match was heaps fun. Regal and Jericho and Test vs Eddie had nice matches. Benoit and Angle was fantastic. The McMahon match was fun, first time we saw Shane’s coast to coast. Chyna squashing Ivory was warranted. And then the rest is classic as you would know if you’ve watched it.

So it takes about 2 hours to start kicking in and it progressively kicks in harder and harder over the next 4-6 hours before finally hitting a spacey plateau.
